My daughter got married 2-years ago in USA. I ordered a very beautiful lehnga suit designer’‘Moazzam Abbasi’’ in Karachi who was recommended by one of my good friend.She knows him for many years.
He has her set up at his home Hydrabad.
Being living in USA i couldn’t have many choices so I sent him a pic and asked if he can make exact the same outfit.He agreed in $1000 and told me he will make better than pic.
He kept calling me to send money to purchase the material and start working on that.
I sent $1000 to his sister who lives in US in another state.
Long story short the day he received money by his sister he stop calling me or taking my calls.I tried to contact him to make sure if the jora will be ready on time.
One day he picked up my call and made some excuses not to respond.
He lied he mailed my order and I foundout he was lied tome coz it was not ready.After so many calls
when it was just a week left in wedding he sent me the parcel…
Trust me the lehnga was totally different what i ordered .More over the shirt was very short like an ugly blouse .It was worst than we can buy from ‘LALOO KHAIT’
or any cheaper market.It was so ugly.
I sent that back to his sister’s address right away so he would know we haven’t used it.
I called him he didn’t picked up.I called his sister she said I am not responsible plz talk to him…That was terrible .I had 4-5days left in wedding and had no clue what to do.With no choice,
At last I bought SHY very expensive lehnga for her…My husband was so angry.
After wedding we called him he never picked up.I sent him emails for money back and he was so disrespectful and abusive and said I wont give money back do what you can do.He said he already spoke to his area SHO if something happens to him we would be responsible for that…
You ppls can imagine what we went through .
He still owes my money and I couldn’t go and meet him but he totally refused to pay that back.I will get my money on my next visit there but he is not agree to pay back money and kept that lehnga.
PLEASE friends never ever order something by picture or trust these kind of designers who are not known and have no reputation ,Class or self respect…

first of sorry to hear this aunty jee…but why did you send $1000 right away.
never ever send your money like this.
you should have had send him the money in installments. and never ever reveal that you dont have relatives in PAkistan. you should have had told him that your brother or someone will come and see the progress.
kher either send him threats or either forget about ur $1000…cuz they aint coming back.

i want him to put his reply definitely on this board because I have my friend as an evidance also all his emails he wrote me with all imannered and unprofessional way.I wish i knew he is such an 3RD CLASS designer and Imannered thats why ppls don't know him as a designer in karachi and he has no botique and work from home in Hydrabad.He goes door to door sell his dresses also owes so much money of others.I fpound out all this afterwards.
I would say,,Mr keep this $1000 as my kid's Sadqa and try to learn and behave like good ppls speically with women.

she cameto me thru a freind with a budget of 1000$ which was equalnt to 65,000 paksitani rupees,i told her that a bridal suit cant be done in that price but she gave mea sad story about her and i fiannly agreed on the condition that it wud be sequence and kundun and she agreed,the lady sent me three different pics and kept on making changes here and there, her daughter called too making changesi suggested herto go with soft pink and silverwork or marron and gold but she red and orange and finally when the interferene went on i told her that iam returning her money back but she told me she had no one to help her and i was a like a brother to her anyway the interfrence continued and i told her if she continues to make chages she wud be resposnible for the results and she told me do as she directed,she got the dress done on her dierctions so how am i resposnsible for it,besdies she says she had a budget of 1000$ so how come she cud afford an outfit a HSY worth 2500$,her emails r with me to prove whoseright, she calls me a Gay well i can really answerher back but my dignitylies in my silence here,kindly type my name on google search and u wud come across a hundreds of pressclipping s abut my work if i wasso thirdclass why did she order it in the first place,her language here is enough to prove her status ......rest is history... coz i dont wish to stoop down at ther level

i just have to point out that my bridal jora was beautiful and full of kaam and for 62,000 rupees including the profit for the lady who made it, so i'm not sure why 65,000 wasn't enough for this one.
regardless, mr. designer man, please post a picture of this dress that you made for the lady. if you stand by the quality of your work and all the changes were made by her and her daughter, surely you would have no objection to posting a picture here.

65,000 rupees is a decent amount, many people buy their bridal clothes for much much less, so Mozzam Abbas, who I haven't heard good things about. Not just thru GS but evidently in Karachi. He made a bridal outfit for my friend, lets just say it didn't look designer made nor was it worth the price. and when a designer comes on GS personally to accuse a customer, that proves he or she has too much time. We don't see HSY coming here to protect his reputation. I believe Maya.
My sister’s lehenga was 35000 ONLY and it was GORRRRGEOUS! It was bought from a shop in lahore, I know that might be one reason why it cost less but still it was gorgeous!
I feel sorry for the designer, everyone seems to be against him so I’m like “Aww”
But you WERE wrong not to give her her money back, should’ve only kept the postal service money and should’ve stayed in regular contact with her, should’ve been more professional etc ..
And Maya you are equally guilty.. why keep on making changes?

Trust me friend now I want him to put the pic of the ''Shahkar'' he produced.You all will know what type of work he does.Its totally wrong about changes.I agree I sent him 3-pic as an option to show hich one he can make the ditto...It was a very elegant/decent jora we ended up and he agreed.He said he is been doing all designing from yrs and will make the better than the pic .....GOD forbid I never ever told him any sad story.Alhumdolillah we can afford thats why I sent him $1000 right away.iIf I couldn't afforad $1000 being living here from 2-decades how can i purchase the SHY.I can post my daughter's SHY bridal pic.
But plz take this laier to the end friends and ask him to put the pic here so everything will be cleard.He claimes he still has and if i am interested he can send me back.If he has it ...plz tell him to show the pic...if I am wrong I will accept all the eligations he accusing me and lieing.

Infact he went abroad during that time and couldn't finish what i ordered and send me whatever 3-rd class out fit he had.All duppata was full of ''Chhun''with small sitaras and lehnga had a mismach patti all over on border also the shirt was like a 10-yrs girl size....The color was totally different.We all were shocked had no words.My husband doesn't ever chose or purchase my clothes and have no knowledge about ladies dressing but he said...Oh no this jora can not be worn in a wedding.....Believe me

do let me know how to put the pic and i wud gladly do besdies as far the budget goes u can get a bridal even for 5000 and still be happy,but if u order some thing and make changes and r willing to take the chance and the result is bad then iam srry its yur mistake not of the designer and iam not here to defend myself its justt hat since the lady called me name so i thought i will just put the record striaght,i really cant compete with her lies,coz she too good with that but yes i believe if u go to a doctor and dont take his advice and follow yur own course of medicines then things will go wrong, soooo thank you all for yur lovely comments but i stand by my story,idont want to come up with the lady's personal details coz that wud be going to her level other wise she wud be hiding her face...anyways take care
