Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

ANYONE who's core belief is disturbed by what Taseer said, to the extent of justifying or 'understanding' Qadri's act is a religious fanatic. The lawyers were fanatics, the people on the facebook pages are fanatics. They are fanatics who also watch desperate housewives. Nobody said you cant be a fanatic as well as a complete contradiction. Mullay just happen to be the most influential voices in that segment of the population.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Well that is a rather limited view point. Taking one incident and applying it the entire relationship between the Guard and the Governor. The statement that he was deemed unworthy by that simple act is nothing more than conjecture and hyperbole.

Kinda like how we deem American Soldiers as unworthy for respect without ever meeting them?

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

What are you on about dude. You are the one who is ascribing reasons other than those explicitly stated by the guard and IM the one who is indulging in conjecture? And what american soldiers? Are you high?

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

I am not ascribing any reasons. What I am doing is merely refuting the claim that he the entire dynamic of the relationship was based on one comment. Put it this way to make it easier. If every fundamentalist nutter killed people for what they said, shouldn't Gilani and Zardari be dead by now?

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Not necesasrily. They might not be exposed to a fundamentalist nut enough to kill them. There are many more fundamentalist nuts in our society than those who have the means, ability and will to kill a high profile public official.

You are not 'refuting' anything. You are conjecturing that there could have been other reasons, besides the ones that Qadri gave, with zero evidence. It is not a refutation because you say so.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Conjecture ascribes that I have given other reasons to than that stated thus far. I have not. I have merely pointed out there are more dynamics to take into consideration. Its a statement to broaden the concept of what happened. Sure the crazy shot him for a reason. Its like the case with Lenon. A whack-job killed him because he thought Catcher in the Rye told him to do so, but that is hardly where the subject ends.

Gilani and Zardari meet with various religious parties on a regular basis. They attend public gatherings, they hold public events, a lot of those do have religious fanatics present.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

First off, you strongly implied that he wouldnt have been killed if he showed people respect and thereby deemed himself worthy of respect. That is a specific reason.
Why broaden it when there is no basis to broaden it, there is NO evidence for any other dynamic?
Sure, if you're a fantasist. Indira Gandhi was shot by her sikh guards because they were angry at her anti-Sikh nationalist operations. But sure... thats only the reasons they gave. What about the other reasons we can think of? Maybe she didnt respect those guards and kicked them in the balls? Who knows. Its possible. Maybe it was about rich vs poor. Its possible. Lets broaden the discussion beyond the murderers stated goals.

Im sure they take precautions whenever they meet people from religious parties who have a higher proportion of religious nuts than others. And they should take precautions.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

I'm so disappointed in some people here today, people I always look up to them. It's sad.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Exactly my thoughts even I'm not a Mullah but I can't abuse Qadri.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

peace TLK

so its wrong if Taseer said that the Law made by Zia and more stricted by Nawaz a KALA QQNOON and its need some kind of change in which peoples couldnt try to get some adventages/revenges to using it to harm someone specially minorities?? is this hurt your feelings too? watch out his clips posted in this regard and listen what was his stance. so its mean Imran Khan is targted either??

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Listen guys, I am not justifying a murder. Salman Taseer's murder is one of the sadest moment of Pakistan's history. What I am saying is that when you call a Qanoon, Kala Qanoon, you need be to careful how your message is heard. If he indeed said that then he made a technical mistake (not a mistake that should've cost him his life, no. That murder is senseless and plain stupid).

I know that his issue was with the misuse of that law and not with the law itself, but when you are dealing with highly emotional public like Pakistani people, you either be very careful in what you say or you just simply quit politics.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

actually the law itself is a kala qanoon, and not simply the misuse of it. also since we are not directly before the highly emotional public at the moment, and have the luxury of relative safety from mob retribution, lets place the blame where it is: on the emotional ones.

there have been plenty of people in history would rather speak the truth rather than be silenced by intimidation. people like malcom X and imam hussain. while it is technically correct that they could have taken safer routes and lived, I think the point of their stand is rather defeated if your focus is on how to survive when facing down a monstrosity, rather than the monstrosity itself.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

so you justify the murder...

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

I'm disappointed to hear this from you TLK. I've been so disappointed by the reaction of a majority of pakistanis to this murder that I think there is no hope left. It has everything to do with Mullahism. They are the ones promoting this hatred against anyone they disagree with. They have been doing it for a long time. Didn't many of them call for Taseer's murder? Haven't they already praised his killer and issued fatwas against saying his Janaza prayer? Aren't they suppose to emulate and promote the sunnah of the Holy Prophet(saw) who was a model of patience. These people don't even have the decency to respect a dead muslim and yet they claim to follow the Prophet(saw) who would stand up in respect even if a jew's funeral passed through.

Tell me where is this mentality and intolerance coming from if not from the Mullahs? When they were targetting the weak no one stood up to them. Now they have moved on to bigger game. If you don't stand up to them even now, then you'll soon realize that even the majority who is so in love with them is not safe.

Do tell us which core belief of normal muslims he disturbed? Is it a core belief of normal muslims to persecute the weak, to put them in jails to rot? Where did this core belief come from? Again from the Mullah. The Mullah has perverted the religion of the Holy Prophet(saw) to the point where its not recognizable anymore. In Mullah's religion, shirk can be tolerated and the mushrik given the opportunity to repent but even alleged blasphemy is punishable by death with no chance for repentance. All the intolerance in our society can be directly traced to the Mullah's teachings.

Let me address the Kala qanoon part. Can someone define what a kala qanoon is? If a law has been used wrongly 100% of the time and has resulted in the death of dozens of innocents without any proven benefit to the society, is it not a black law? Taseer said to revisit this law which has been abused 100% of the time. That is reason enough for the Mullah to demonize him to the point where his blood becomes legal. He didn't slander the Holy Prophet(saw) nor did he promote anyone else to do it.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Listen, if I was justifying the murder then you have every right to feel disappointed by me but I am talkiing about the reason. I am actually surprised that you are not open minded towards listening to others opinions and feel disappointed if they dont agree with you.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

I didn't accuse you of justifying the murder. The parts of your post that I disagreed with are highlighted and the reasons for disagreement explained. I was disappointed that an educated person like you can say that Mullahism doesn't have anything to do with it. Moreover the assertion that what Taseer said disturbed a core belief of a normal muslim is baseless as stated earlier. Such assertions at least project an understanding of why it happened if not outright justification. I have been hearing this on Pakistani news shows. It usually starts with: the murder was wrong but.... these if's and but's are in bad taste. They show a mentality that we can see how this can happen.

I'm quite open to opposing opinions and usually don't shoot people. The mullahs, who you think don't have anything to do with it, have inculcated the mentality that difference of opinion is reason enough to kill someone. That is what I'm trying to highlight.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

I am with you on that one.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

One Point I noted...

Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (saw) never praised a murder to blasphemers which deserved to be killed...Salman Taseer didn't even deserve it. Got that whole Point?

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

Pakistan Mullahs over the period of time have thrived because of these weak-of-faith jahil masses as much so they are literally using them to fuel their fire now !
They have no clue what so ever about Allah swt logic which is narrated in Quran very clearly ! Yet, All they do is to depend on some 'Weak or unauthentic hadiths' to get their agenda forward to weak masses!

Allah swt ki bus aik dafa he lalkar sunai day gi sub ko ! By then it would be too late !

Salman Taseer was a muslim and should NOT BE JUDGED BY ANY ONE ON THIS OR ANY OTHER FORUM, was he a good Muslim or bad, leave it in the hands of 'Almighty Allah'

When you hear of a death of a muslim recite "Inallaha-e-Inallah'hy rajoun" & ask Allah's swt forgiveness of the departed soul and for his/her family and forgiveness for your self. THIS IS GLORIOUS ISLAM !

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Actually over 500.
