Taseer Killed - Warning for All

The recent murder of Salman Taseer, Governor of Punjab is warning for the remainders of the politicians. You keep the masses uneducated this is what you get in response… this time it was the security officer, who suppose to protect him, killed him… how measure can be taken to reduce this risk??? should highly westernized politician get their security from west? or should the religious leaders get their security from Saudi like govt???

It is time for the leadership to think what went wrong here… The education is the only thing which can bring the extremists of both sides to the level where they can live together… yes the awareness and education is the only thing which is the solution, otherwise tomorrow a guard of some other political personality can turn against him…

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Excellent point my friend education is essential as is integration and the essence of dialogue...

Allah na kareh if the Politicians or Mullahs end up hiring outside security then we can say goodbye to our beloved motherland as we know it... becuase these warring factions will bring thier hired thugs into politics and the poor common people will suffer.

Pakistan is collapsing into a mire of political stagnation and it's a fermenting hotpot for revolutions and fanatics from all sides, it's all like the feudalistic warring states of medieval times.... I love our past but theres nobody alive who wants the violence of the past to come back in such a terrible way.

BBC
Salman Taseer: Thousands mourn Pakistan governor - BBC News

Five hundred scholars from the moderate Barelvi sect of Sunni Muslims have warned that anyone who expresses grief over the assassination could suffer the same fate.

“No Muslim should attend the funeral or even try to pray for Salman Taseer or even express any kind of regret or sympathy over the incident,” said the Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan in a statement.

It said anyone who expressed sympathy over the death of a blasphemer was also committing blasphemy

i take back any sympathy i had after hearing about the incident

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

its completely incorrect to say that lack of education is connected to our current crappy religiously motivated violent tendencies. After all, the lawyers who showered the douchebag with petals when he entered the court are probably atleast graduates. And the thousands of facebook fans would also belong to the educated, internet accessing segment of the population.

No.. dont blame the politicians for keeping the country uneducated. Blame the whackjobs themselves, and the fcking mullay who incite them.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

^ exactly!

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

It went wrong the moment manhoos Zia-ul-Haq killed Bhutto and then started American war against Russia. Jehadis were recruited and trained by his army in the name of jehad. It is misguiding thread regarding education. Who is more educated than brain behind jehadis Taleban and mqm?

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

^ actually it might have started with anti-Ahmadiyya laws, thats when govt started to bow to molvis.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

yes, all the Pagaras and Lagharis and Bugtis and Khars are so much into educating their people that they are opening schools after schools in their area for poor people. Its all Mullas who are keeping the people jahil. Yup.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

i didnt say it was the mullay keeping the people jahil. i said jahalat is an easy thing to pin it on, but theres no evidence that nutjobs who support/carry this out werent provided access to education by the state. the pagaras and lagharis and bugties and khars are a strawman. the rot runs deeper, is pervasive, and has little correlation with education. Malik Mumtaz Qadri was a resident of Muslim Town, Rawalpindi. A middle class area, in a city that has 80% literacy rates. Unlikely that he did not get an education. Likewise, the lawyers showering him with flowers are educated. His facebook fans belong to educated classes. Why blame Pir Pagara and Laghari then? The foremost to blame are the people themselves, and the mullay who lead them.

They've been beating the blasphemy drum for two months. Oh yes.. some of this s**t should stick to them.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Molvi's keep people uneducated so that they can misuse their "authority"...It is cristall clear written in the Holy Qur'an don't kill. Allah has sacred everyones life. Who the Hell are people who come and cut you down? Who? Who is the Jamaat Ahle-Sunnat which gives these kind of warnings? Is this the Sunna of the Holy Prophet (saw)? Stupid and uneduacted people. Do you need worldly education to tell people don't kill?

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

As ravage said himself, yes some mullas are showing their pleasure but Lawyers also showered him with petals. Lawyers are not religious fanatics. People who are creating FB pages are not fanatic mullas. Love of prophet runs with in heart of every Muslim. I am not justifying the act of Qadri, in fact I am pretty sad about the murder of someone who did not deserve this fate. I am just saying that this has nothing to do with Mulla'ism. Its all about Taseer saying something that disturbed the core belief of even a normal Muslim.

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Apparently now overwhelming majority of Pakistanis, i.e. those belonging to the previously moderate barelwi sect have now been deemed extremists by our esteemed liberal elite...let's call for drone attacks in all of Pakistan...

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

core belief? who implented that core belief? The people are crying BLASPHEMY BLASPHEMY! Why? Do attach core belief to Muhammad (saw)? The 'normal' Muslim may not know that people insulted Muhammad (saw) and Allah, but he showed patience and prayed. What does the normal Muslim do? Go out and kill people? What did Taseer say? That this Blood has to stop running through the country? Is that too much he asked for? He only asked not to behave like God. He gives life and takes life. Who are we? It all has to do with Mullah'ism because that God @#!*% Mullah barks into the heart of a normal Muslim, Lawyers, Fanatics KILL KILL KILL or we will KILL YOU...

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

What exactly did he say that disturbed core belief of a normal Muslim?

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

I never had any sympathy with the creature called politicians, they live or they die… i don’t care, same as they don’t care if people like me lives or die…

the point i am making here is the monster called extremism where everyone is ready to kill other person is result of the policies adopted by the ruling elite may it be the politicians or Generals turned politicians… they intentionally kept the people illiterate and the “Product” is now seems to be ready… the killer is no body else but the product of their own system…

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Yes!! the problem is that one somebody dies he turns to hero..doesn't matter how bigger jerk he was...

yes the education has nothing to with the religiously motivation and the development of violent tendencies in the society.. it was just a spaceship who sprayed some toxic and whatever we are witnessing is direct result of the same toxic... otherwise.. education, awareness has nothing to do with the extremism and violence...

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

I am speaking with facts, you are speaking with fantasy. You want to believe there is an easy answer... 'oh if only they were educated'. No. We have had these tendencies in us for a very long time. Remember that the Munir Commission Report was written in 1953. Unless you mean 'education, awareness' to mean a mindset where you arent disposed to kill someone who offends your religious sensibilities ofcourse.. in which case you're kindof cheating. My grandmother wasnt educated, but she would never support killing Salman Taseer. Having forbearance and class is not just about whether you graduated from high school.

You need to address the following points:

  1. The killer is from Muslim Town, Pindi.. an area with 80% literacy rates, probably one of the most 'educated' areas in the country.
  2. Plenty of 'educated' people have offered him support... like the lawyers or his facebook fans.

The politicians have a much more indirect role for where the barelvies are than the barelvies themselves, and their religious leadership (which has long adopted vigilanteism to protect namoos-e-risalat)

Re: Tasee Killed - Warning for All

Good point, but I think it also has to do with fact that our society does not value human life & we're fast becoming a culture of death and destruction. Also, I agree with you that we should not make heroes out of dead terrorists or politicians alike, but we should value human life, and if life has to be taken, it should done in manner that is accepted by most societies through due process, not by killing people b/c we disagree with their political or religious views.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

You show people respect. You deem yourself worthy of respect few are going to go after and kill you. Remember you can not divorce the reputation of the man from the act itself. Yes he was killed for his views on the Blasphemy law. Yes it is a cowardly act and the man security guard deserves to die. Yes I condemn it. But when someone who guards you is happy to kill you, it says something about how much you are respected or liked by your staff.

Re: Taseer Killed - Warning for All

^ not really. all it says is what the security guard said: he was killed because of his views on the blasphemy law. he was deemed unworthy of respect because of that single act. bear in mind that the douchebag mullay have been deeming Taseer unworthy of respect without ever meeting him.
