i watched the first epi and i liked it, after seeing the OST i am looking forward to it :)

the sequel has started off on the same melancholic note as the original tanhayan where the parents were killed in the very first episode and the consequent few depressing episodes when the sisters adjusted in a new city in their khala's house...now yrs later after Zara's untimely and mysterious death, her daughters return to their khala's house where they will no doubt find the same love and comfort they need. life comes full circle. sad so far, hope it becomes lighthearted eventually like the original.

I really am liking it so far. The dialogues and acting is excellent, completely linked to the original, which gets one moving so easily. But the direction is choppy and not that good.

She was approached for the role.... she was honest enough to say that she is not the same shahnaz shaikh that people loved.

Second episode was much better. Quite emotional and so damn nostalgic!!

Ok, I get the story..I dont know how far will I be right.. (ye to sari episodes dekhne ke baad hi pata chalega) BUT, I have come to THIS story!!

Zain is back, he doesnt tell anyone about Zara.... Entire family thinks she is dead but she ISN't!!

I have got this clue from a scene where Zara's daughter says, Ye kiya samjhayengi BIBI ko, mujhay to lag raha hay inhe khud hi kuch samajh main nahin aaya!

Secondly, The thing would be ke zara ne kaha hoga ke main Blah Blah trip p ja rahi hun, wahan se wapsi p aaongi..... (and eventually Zara will show up in only last episode). On the other hand, in one scene, Qazi Wajid (Faran) said, Kiya Beemar thee bohat?? and Zain said, "Will tell you later" Now zain thinks, Faran is asking this because he think she didnt COME because she was ill while Faran was asking about the death the was she ill??

Third! Aani asked, how did you managed it alone with your daughters, and Zain said, One of them cried with me while the other cried alone in her room. Now Aani is asking because of the death.. but zain thinks, she is asking, How did you managed to come ALONE with your daughters and what he replied can be an answer to what zain thinks!! So in last episodes, ye misconception khatam hogi ke What Zara Zinda hay? and he will reveal, Obviously she is, main to aap sab ko ye bata raha tha ke wo hamaray sath nahin hay means wo hamaray sath nahin aayi aur usay kisi aur trip p jana parr gaya aur wo wahan se aayegi!!! And there in last episode, she appears and the story ends Happily!!

This is all my preception.. I think yehi honay wala hay :)

saw the first episode and didnot like it. bibi was over acting and so was the maid. this drama doesnot seem interesting though the 'tanahiyaan' itself wasnot wow either but was better than this. will watch for time pass.

ps. marina looks gorgeous.

It was stupid the way they broke the supposed news of Zara'a death.

How unrealistic is it that a sister is not informed of her sister's death. Very filmy.

If Q_24's theory is correct, then it is even more ridiculous.

You don't pull practical jokes like that on people.
It would be very childish.
But yes, without Zara, the play is incomplete.
Why did they even bother to do the sequel ?
Hope it will stand on its own merit and not on the back of the original serial.

Does anybody know how many episodes they are thinking of milking in the sequel ?

Much better third episode. Now story is moving forward, albeit a bit slow. They recreated the scene with the pillow fight. Nostalgic!

I can’t wait to start watching this (waiting for holidays lol).. I think I saw an episode of the original Tanhaiyan on PTV the other day, brought back so many memories :naak:
