I think Zara commited suicide probably over something Zain did (infidelity??). I just started watching it and Gosh the second episode was so hard to watch with the melancholy theme in the background and the nostalgia over all. Does anyone know what Shehnaz Sheikh is doing currently.

Watched the first episode. Found it very OTT and unbearable but also got very nostalgic SO i started watching the original tanhiyaan:

Shahzad Khalil was a brilliant director. I wish someone would start a wikipedia page on him. I would like to see all of his works.

Haven't seen the original but it's quite odd that the sister died and the other one didn't know abt it. Why did they (the sisters) become estranged?? Does any1 know?

I’ve watched Shahzad Khalil’s ‘Teesra Kinara’, Nishan e Haider, ‘Tanhaiyan’, ‘Panah’, ‘Ihsas’ and ‘Saaye’. What are his other works?

Yes that was a good one :smiley: I also had a long play written by Haseena Moin and directed by Shahzad Khalil, where Bushra Ansai played Fisher woman. Its called ‘Saghar ka moti’.. Beautiful direction :k:
