So…(By the above statement ^^).. is it not possible that a good girl will still be treated badly purely because her in-laws are bad people? Or is that entirely the fault of the DIL… Just beacuse a DIL is treated bad, it doesn’t mean she IS bad..
She can make all the “sacrifices” (as you put it) in the world, but some people (with your mentality) will never be satisfied…!
You expect her to sacrifice and compromise for 5 years and only if she does so accordingly to your “definition” and by your standards, will you then “treat her like a queen”.. Well.. where do I sign up, cuz I can’t wait to marry you(!)…
In my family we dont have any close family in Pakistan, so no one asks for electronics. The door ke rishtedaars fortunately have decency so they dont ask for such things either, but they are usually gifted something.
My bhabhis family is in Pakistan though, and they have a habit of requesting thing. One of her cousins gave her old and broken mobile to my nephew and then claimed he had broken it. We of course offered to get her a new of the same, but nope she had her eye set on a specific brand new model. Chaawel kahin ke!
