Well… the mods had something else, and alot more ‘tasteful’ ideas, in mind than what you described above.. but if that’s what your expectations are then we can’t say no. But no matter how much you insist, you don’t have to heat and reheat the coffee for us, we have servants who do that- a classy woman with such high taste as yourself deserves better, I say.
Welcome to the team. ![]()
Someone's getting exciiiteddddd
When you're home sick with a bad case of the oinks, everything seems exciting in its own "Rear Window"ish way. I feel like Jimmy Stewart (minus the wheelchair and class).

Wait, did you see a doctor? They should prescribe you meds to make you feel better. Don't worry, you'll be fine soon, iA.

No, don't leave me alone! I'm loving this back and forth banter! Right now, it's the only thing keeping me from going into the light (a la Poltergeist)! Please people: more comments/complaints/personal attacks! I love them all, I swear! Keep the discussion rolling; I'm really enjoying it, even in my flu-addled state!
Actually, there’s not much you can do to treat the swine flu itself, and the few medications that treat the symptoms leave you feeling worse off. Every year it’s a new flu to worry about: a few years ago it was the H5N1 Avian Flu; this year it’s the H1N1 Swine Flu; next year it’ll be the Z1N1 Zombievirus (promise me you’ll shoot me when I start turning…). I just need to keep up the bed-rest for now.
How dare you care me “classy”? Not even my mother calls me that!
By fake tears, do you mean the kind that you buy at the pharmacy, to keep your eyes moist? Maybe the 10lbs of eye makeup, combined with her colored contacts, dried out the poor girl's eyes and she had no choice but to wet and re-wet; she wasn't crying, her eyes were drying!
By fake tears i mean this bride was actually PRETENDING to be sad... she was trying to make that face but you could clearly see the smile on her face... Be real!!
You won't understand, you would have to see it to believe it! This was so so fake and even my 5 year old cousin pointed it out!
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
lollll too funny and actually kinda cute hehe
there are a lot of tacky things i can think of but none related to the bride herself...its how people behave at the most important day of a couple's life that irks me... oh you know what i am talking about....ppl gossiping ...in laws creating scenes ...ppl behaving like monsters etc .... really ppl leave no stone unturned to try and put a damper on an otherwise perfect event GRRR
She was crying and smiling at the same time?!? HOMEGIRL'S GOT MAD SKILLS! refraining from making "mod skilss" jibe I wish I could cry and laugh at the same time!!! That's the kinda $hit that wins you Academy Awards here in the States!
WHY, OH WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE A PICTURE, HUMA?!? :*(
Maybe her family wanted her to do the whole 'shy sad bride' thing and she didn't really want to..

Rest up and take lots of fluid I guess. I'm not sure how similar it is to other normal flu but if it is then take alot of liquids especially soups and OJ.
Re: Tackiest thing you’re ever seen a bride rock…
how many people actually go to a wedding an notice all these minute details, like manicures and pedicures?
I just see the overall look which really matters.
I don’t know, I guess that’s just me.
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
bad photoshoot backgrounds ...eww
and the "geisha" make-up big no no

Oh that's Dawood Ibrahim's daughter.. I think to them their flaunting wealth/gold > style. Of course with the money they have, she could've easily gone to indian/pakistani top desginers/stylists.
^Oh, how sinfully ostentatious!
Mmmm, apart from overdoing the jewelry, I think that overdoing anything around the head area can look unflattering. For example…a dupatta with teeka/jumor is enough. A dupatt with a tiara sitting on top…is a tad much,
My 2 pennies worth… i hate this whole “lets cake the face” look, i saw an engagement film of my friend in Pakistan, and 1 year later saw a wedding film of her cousin, OMG they looked exactly same!!! how can that be possible??? 2 totally different faces, 1 exactly same face!!! obviously they both used the same beauty salon ![]()
