Re: Tackiest thing you’re ever seen a bride rock…
I’m more of a “less is more” gal when it comes to wedding jewelery … add gajaray to the mix and its taking it to a whole other level in my opinion. Not a fan… :nono:

Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
A wedding a couple of years ago...the bride was sitting on stage with her legs crossed and her ankles/calf showing! It looked so ungraceful and cheap! She was not sat like a lady and it made her look terrible in the wedding get up and acting like a dude!
Another was a girl I know, she lifted her lengha to show us her wedding shoes and her legs were stubbly!!! She said she had shaved them at 3am that day as she couldn't sleep the night before her wedding but my god it looked terrible!
Yeah. She’s wearing 12-13 gold necklaces and 1 mangal sutra (say what?!?) and each one is as tasteful and subtle as a rapper’s gold grill.
On the bright side: her foundation doesn’t look like it was chosen by Stevie Wonder; it matches her skin perfectly!
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
Desi dulhan having a Tiara, really?! :/
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
Roxx, Some ppl are saying that pic is a hoax, that the 'real' bride in question was actually dressed nowhere near as badly as that.. She and her hubby are based in London apparently and tend to be much more low-key..
I’m green with envy that you girls get to attend tiara-weddings and I don’t; I’ll be crying myself to sleep from now on…
On a side note: how can we be certain that the groom is not a prince? Or that the bride is not Princess Jasmine?
^^^
Oh that's Dawood Ibrahim's daughter.. I think to them their flaunting wealth/gold > style. Of course with the money they have, she could've easily gone to indian/pakistani top desginers/stylists.
Provided they actually make bullet-proof cholis and are not afraid to be associated with organized crime.
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
Well whatever, Tiara is over the top.
That, or all desis just look the same.
Seriously though: have you seen how much these so-called makeup artists are charging for the privilege?
Re: Tackiest thing you’re ever seen a bride rock…
The supposed ‘real’ pic of Dawood Ibrahim’s daughter on her wedding day:
I didn’t think that you could “jazz up” a tuberose; I now stand corrected. Gold tinsel AND blue food-coloring: the very essence of class!

You just ruined my day. :*(
Not Desi dulhans, necessarily, but I’ve seen quite a few perched atop the heads of Malaysian brides. What gives? Those edited can’t all be royals!
You’re preachin’ to the choir.
i thought that was abrar ul haq’s wife and definately not dawood ibrahim’s daughter
If the white tip resembled a shade of Haldi, would this still be classy? Just wondering…
If only she didnt wear the flowers, and put her jhoomar on the right side, she wud of looked gorjus!
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
bride gabbing on the cellphone on the stage...

I agree!

I have seen situation situation #1 before - and it does look ungraceful and cheap. To make it worse, the bride had bad posture and was kinda hunched over. Def. not elegant or graceful!
and omg to situation # 2. She should have shaved again like right before the reception! :(
bride gabbing on the cellphone on the stage...
i agree, this looks really bad, texting is even worse
