Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
Cakey look is unforgivable in my books.
The thing is some girls have normal to even good enough skin, they really don't need all those layers of thick foundation just because it's their wedding. No, absolutely not. Just because you are the bride, doesn't mean you can't look like yourself.
There are so many ways you can create a perfect camera ready face with minimal makeup. That's what red carpet make up is all about, of course apart from having good skin, you need an exceptionally talented, professional and experienced make up artist to create this look and believe in the philosophy of less is more.

^ I think ruby looks can look quite nice. I especially like MAC's Ruby Woo shade. It looks quite nice on almost everyone.
I don't think it's the red lipstick per say that's the problem. I think the problem is that makeup artists always seem to go for the same deep burgundy shade (even if it doesn't suit the bride).
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll be sure to look that one up :)

For me, it's the post processing of bridal photographs. I wrote a long rant but scrubbed it. All I have to say is please, please, please, don't have your photos airbrushed and processed to the point where we can't tell your facial features.
On a funnier note, I saw wedding photos (wasn't there myself) where the bridesmaids dresses lit up like a Christmas tree.

Please please tell me (and share pictures!) that they had actual lights on them! :D
Interestingly, I saw something rather funny that is sort of related to this. An acquaintance of mine had a photoshoot (in her wedding clothes) prior to her wedding. As her wedding was in the winter (around Christmas time), the photoshoot had loads of fairy lights. A couple of the poses were of she and and an other girl in the wedding party playfully posing with the fairy lights. In one of the pictures, the manner in which she is holding the string of fairy lights and the angle at which the picture was taken make it look as if the lights were part of her saree and as if it was her saree that lit up. When first seeing the pictures, a few people (including myself) actually thought her saree had lights on it.
lol. if i was her, i’d have taken pictures of people’s ‘errm…’ moments when they saw the picture the first time
there was a time when we wrapped up a friend in fairy lights, plugged them in and switched them on. unfortunately, didn’t do much except give us creepy underlit photos of his face.
however, i think it may be time to take another shot at this and embrace this new light emitting clotheswear technology. i propose we start a new trend

enough of bride, lets talk about grooms also but I hate white sports socks wth khusa and those artificial flowers. and too much matching of groom n bride also looks tacky

There was something like this on Gypsy Weddings :D

I actually like the multiple rings. I'm wearing a ton of rings on my wedding. I especially love knuckle rings, stacking rings, and those rings that connect to the bracelet (I think it's called a slave bracelet).
Anyway, I don't think it's nice to pick on a bride's taste. It's her big day and she can do whatever she wants!

Is Roxx still single? I wanna marry that woman.
That depends: are you rich, or an actual Black Forest Cake? In either case, send me the relevant financial records and/or nutrition labels, and I'll give you my answer.
Re: Tackiest thing you're ever seen a bride rock...
haha. wow. the only reason i have that picture on my computer is to illustrate to my folks what I DON'T want for makeup. I actually think, with better makeup and maybe a little less vampire teeth, that woman would've looked gorgeous!
Wow, it's one thing to make fun of a person's makeup or nails, but something they're born with and can't change like teeth? That's mean spirited and just douche-baggey.
