ok so i went and got it done, thinking its a good thing, however now im worried sick as theres so much negativty about it too, just google it and its 50-50…im scared now about the jab ive taken, im scared of losing the baby, god forbid, have i done the right thing..did anyone else take it?

It's done with so I think you should not worry yourself sick over it! There are special H1N1 vaccines that are safe for early pregnancy...at least that is what the Medical Office and the doc told me...
If you told your doc that your are into early pregnancy than they would have given you that special vaccine....
Either way I have not heard the vaccine to bring on MC...although (God forbid) stress might!
When I came to know that I was expecting I became so paranoid that I googled everything...which just made me more anxious if I read something that I was not expecting/experiencing...
I would say just leave everything to God, He has a plan for everything.....sit back and let the nature take its course...

Since you have already gotten the injection,there is nothing you can do.So relax!
Btw,I also got it during the earlier second trimester.
there are all sorts of things out there on the internet.I thought it was better to be safe than sorry,so I went for it.

as long as you get the SHOT and NOT the nasal spray one (which has the live version of the virus) you should be fine inshAllah. my sis got the shot when she was 4 or 5 months preg...mashAllah her baby is healthy and is now almost 3 months old!! so dont stress about it...

Usually they don't give it in the first trimester, but maybe that has changed.

All this media hype about the dangers of the swine flu vaccine are referring to the miniscule percentage of people who have a reaction to the shot. These reactions occur typically within hours of the injection and occur in an extremely small percentage of patients.
The danger of contracting Swine flu while pregnant is so drastic that to not get the shot is to risk the life of the baby and even the mom. You absolutely did the right thing by getting this vaccination. And if you were to have a reaction to it, it would have already occurred.

Dont worry about it, im 15 weeks pregnant now and i had my jab at 9 weeks
and AH everything is fine although my arm killed for 2 wks :)
Insh'allah everything will go well, try not to stress as this is not good for the baby :)

Dont worry about it that much, i got swine flue while i was pregnant. was sick for about 3-4 days and my baby is fine MashAllah. he is 5 months old now.
