They're jaahil becoz they've gotten the worst of AMerican/Western culture. Those womenw hat htey did was great, but they're exceptions, NOT the norm. Hopefully these ladies will have more of an effect on teh culture and lifestyles of the ppl generations to come, instead of being bombarded by trashy Holly/bollywood...

What I said does relate to the "demands" of these feminists. They want women to be free and to choose their own life etc etc.
Well, they undermine the fact that there are religious implications upon women, as well as cultural.
Everyone lives under a certain ideology, and to deviate from that ideology is not something the world accepts.
Meaning simply, to give an example. If you're a muslim women, you have no choice but to stay at home, and take care of teh children.
It is the job of the Man of the house to provide for the family.
Now if you go out to get a job, then you are obviously violating the ideologies that have been static for 1500 years.
Thus in that regard, there is no way you can be equal to men.
Women take care of the house = A.
Men go to work, provide for the household = B.
A does not equal B.

And how do you explain the fact that Aisha (R) was a teacher? Do you know she had her own school? Actually the first organized teaching facility in the region.
And how do you explain the fact that Khadija held a job? Not just a job, but running a whole business?

Does that explain how those societies function? Why Islam hates western ideologies, and vis-a-vis for the west? Or do you want me to layout out on piece of paper? You prefer crayons or markers?
Please do not compare yourselves to the likes of those Women (Aisha r.a. etc). Even an imbicile ( i was suprised you didn’t know..) knows that Khadija r.a. wasn’t married, nor was she a muslim, and she had to provide for herself.
Aisha r.a. was widowed also had to provide for herself, in which case she actually accepted the ideology of women being inferior to men (which btw what Allah swt States) oh..no wait…she actually TAUGHT it!
Its apparent those who have total disregard for the islamic law set out for women, will always whine about the “inequality”. What a waste of time.

^ WOW feel sorry for ur woman! I agree that its a mans responsibility to provide for the woman, but WHERE does it say its wrong for the woman to go out n work? How about you give me refrences first about womans place being at the home? It might not be something that was done but its definately nothing wrong!!!
