I m desperate, I read the whole thread…reminds me of those french feminist screaming terrorist when seeing a hijab…why do women allways look down on others? to compete for males? I’d rather opt for polygamy than bitch on my female competitor…she has her ways, you have yours Hiccup, she says bad things to you? Parrisenoor, I understand what you're saying, and you're right. However, this may be harsh but some women deserve to be kicked around for their idiotic views and the trash hiccup speaks of is one of em. "Women" like her are just a waste of space, classic examples of worthless "education." I'd be more sympathetic if she was from the pind, but I'm not gonna insult econmically poor women with minimal education because even they are not this stupid.

Well, everyone is entitled to have an opinion but they are not entitled to IMPOSE their opinions on others. And we seem to be missing this point here that the woman in question believes that she is the only one telling the truth and derides the attempts of hiccup to argue with her on rational grounds by calling her naive. And I for one don't believe that women are any better or worse than men. But, on this issue, I will side with the starter of the thread because people don't have a right to tell us that we're less intelligent just because of our age or sex.

It infuriates me when I hear such stories too. You know what? I don't even bother to talk to such people. You have to develop a radar for kachray laug. When you see such people, don't even bother speaking to them.
Out of all the people in the world, you can find a number of 'em to talk to that are not f'ed up.
Why raise BP when talking to such a lady. If for some reason my radar disfunctioned, I would excuse myself in the middle of the conversation (especially the shirk part) and leave. And I'd let her know that as a muslim, I was really offended and outraged just speaking to her, and also that she should never speak to me again unless she got onto the righteous path.
For self-righteous people, only smacking them in the face with their own attitude works.

Actually I feel sorry for her if anything. She really must be completely helpless or believe that she is completely helpless to be willing to justify her husbands behaviour. Maybe all she can do is put up, maybe thats all she wants to do, maybe she has a low self-esteem and thats why she thinks men are 70% better than women or maybe its because she believes that men are 70% better than women that she has a low self-esteem. Who in the right frame of mind would let themselves be mistreated unless they absolutely had no other choice or didn't realise that they had a choice. If she is happy living that way and doesn;t ant to realise that she has another option (assuming she does) then let her be, atleast she is happy!
