Breaking and entering in a private property is against the law.
Abducting people is against the law.

Now both the above are against the law not only in secular but also by Islamic point of view. IMO the are criminals by both the laws.

Allah Almighty says, “Let there be a community among you who call to the good, and enjoin the right, and forbid the wrong. They are the ones who have success.” (3:104)

The Almighty says, “You are the best nation ever to be produced before mankind. You enjoin the is right, forbid the wrong.” (3:110).

The Almighty says, “Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant,” (7:199)

and the Almighty says, “The believers, men and women, are friends of one another. They command what is right and forbid what is wrong.” (9:71)

The Almighty says, “Those among the Tribe of Israel who rejected were cursed on the tongue of Dawud and that of 'Isa, son of Maryam. That is because they rebelled and overstepped the limits. They would not restrain one another from any of the wrong things that they did. How evil were the things they used to do!” (5:78-79)

and the Almighty says, “Say: ‘It is the truth from your Lord; so let whoever wishes believe and whoever wishes reject.’” (18:29)

The Almighty says, “Proclaim what you have been ordered to,” (15:94)

and the Almighty says, “We rescued those who forbidden the evil and seized those who did wrong with a harsh punishment because they were deviators.” (7:165)

Hey LB, I am sure that they did try to stop the women who were running the brothel in a peaceful manner. Maybe abduction was not the right thing to do but what else could of been done. At least a male didn’t enter and abduct.

I don’t know who are the sipah-e-sihabas… anyways, to protect the deen of Allah you have to cross all lines. Just look back at the life of our Prophet (PBUH).

On one hand, i’m sure hte pimp/brothel manager, watever u call em, aren’t doing any good for society, neither are hte prostitutes or the men who visit them…they shud have taken the customers as well and punished them. A brothel is illegal anyway in Pakistan, so its not like the idea of shutting down a brothel is WRONG. So pinocchio, you are correct.

BUT the way they've gone about is wrong. You are not allowed to violently take the law into your own hands. And if this picture posted is from this madrassah that these girls attend, then I have to say that the env't doesn't look Islamic at all.

Is this the same group that keeps making bold violent attempts - and they've been in the news recently for occupying some library?

Everyone is littering the thread about who is right and who is wrong. My question to those who think those ladies did good, did they change the lives of those prostitutes into something better? They cut the tree but did not uproot it. They stopped it but did not eliminate it. It will sprout elsewhere. They could have offered those ladies a decent way of earning and living. Settle them with something more respectable. Did they do that no. This is the premise of how they think, "We are right and have the right to do whatever we want". I can't see what they did to help those individuals. Evil is fought by overcoming it with good not violence or the my way or the highway kind of mentality.

Every such event becomes a sporting event with the crowd cheering for the team they want to win. No one cares about the genuine concerns, its all a spectacle.

Laanat hai humaray logon per ... if we do not try to find the real solutions to our problems then the day may not be far when there is no country called Pakistan. And if there is you would definitely will be ashamed to identify yourself as a Pakistani or worse you may even try to hide the fact that your Pakistani.

And the maulvis know this. They know that if they can get girls to carry out their dirty work, then no one will touch them. Even the police and higher ups are scared to even open their mouths to these girls, because they'll be the first ones to cry that they've been harassed. And we all know how the muslim world feels if you say anything negative to a veiled woman.
