Yousif Ali, the talented actor of Sindhi/Urdu dramas died in Mid 90’s. He was in his early 40’s. Yousif Ali became famous after Abdul Qadir Junejo’s ‘Choti si Duiya’. He also played major role in Junejo’s ‘Deevarin’ where he played cruel brother of innocent girl Rani. His other memorable performances included ‘Inteha’ (playing father of Qaisar Khan), Neele Haath (against Bushra Ansari), Nijaat (Dubai returned brother of Noman Ejaz).

Re: Stars who died young

Add Jangloos to the list of his plays where he acted very well as Daywar, a dumb guy who is loyal servant of Saleem Nasir (RIP).

Re: Stars who died young

^ Yes. That was an amazing performance by Aslam Latar.

Re: Stars who died young

Subhani Ba Younus, a gr8 stage /TV/Radio/film actor died in 2006.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subhani_ba_Yunus

He became famous for TV viewers after his performance in ‘Taleem e Balighan’.

His other memorable performances include Khuda ki Basti, Shaheen (father of Badr Bin Mugheera played by Ismail Shah), Tanhaiyan (where he appeared for just first two episodes as father of Marina & Shehnaz Shaikh, but his performance in that short role is still remembered by masses), Ba adab ba Mulahiza Hushiaar (Again a small role of Mu’arikh- Historian fresh in our memories. The famous dialogue of Qasim Jalali ‘Insaaf Hoga Zaroor Hoga’ and then 'Likho Murikh! ke shehnshah ke daur main sher aur bakri aik hi ghaat se pani pete the).

Wikipedia’s information that Ba adab ba Mulahiza Hushiaar was his last serial for PTV is not correct. He acted in Kazim Pasha’s drama Uljhan as father of Saima Salahudin. Also he appeared in Sultana Siddiqui’s long play ‘Dil Dil da mamla’ which were telecasted long time after Ba adab ba Mulahiza Hushiaar.

My personal favorite performance by Subhani Ba Younis is from drama Jaangloos, where he played role of a smuggler, who disguised him as a very pious man to deceive the ppl.

Re: Stars who died young
