aisha, some salespeople will surely prefer a wealthy customer, but usually because they feel they can gain more out of them. But if neither the poor or wealthy buys, it may still be considered a waste of time either way, unless they gain some other benefit out of it.
A lot of wealthy ppl dress down when shopping. Believe it or not. When I worked in that position, we never took a persons clothing for granted. I worked in a high-end boutique but the guy in jeans and a t-shirt was just as apt to buy than a wealthy woman in diamond and pearl necklaces.

It is a destructive situation of Muslims societies that they only paid respect to big shoes, elites of societies and rich person or them from them they feel fears. Is it deed of a Muslim? Muslims only makeup faces not makeup souls. Although Muslims should pay respect and value to every human of earth included other living things equally, but they are not doing like this, this situation leading them to destructions and they are losing moral in the world, ruling bodies of other nations only paid respect to such Muslim that can give them financial benefits basically they are not paying respect the Muslims
I always stay very simple I never expect respect from hypocrites Muslims but the people of societies that self are so simple and knew me they always respect and value me. I imagine such respect and value is so precious to me even it is very few but real. In Muslims societies not all are asshole few person always feel the situation and get sickness.
So, you should not be depressed you stay simple that will be a lesson for Muslims.

So if someone spends 25k on a watch it's laughable. What if she spent 10 or 20 or 150 or 1000? What is the cutoff for something bought to be not laughable? It's starting to turn into an opinionated question. That's what happens when your ideas are strictly opinion.
