Some sort of love triangle :(

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

Some sort of love triangle? More like some sort of, you need to get a life.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

As you obviously lack the intelligence and insight to respond constructively, kindly refrain from leaving such irrelevant comments as they merely work to highlight both your stupidity and inability to properly understand the situation.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

Always remember: theres plenty of fish in the sea.

cease your feelings, unleashing it wud be like asking for trouble.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

This may sound very childish but i think you should tell him. I don't know if this is fair with the other girl or even your cousin but you do what your heart says and ofcourse you can't force anybody to choose you and neither should he if he is commited to the other girl.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

^ Wow..yeah that IS childish and selfish and quite frankly...delusional.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

I am generally pretty PC with the rare advice I give, but I don't feel like being nice today.

To the OP, grow up! You had your chance, you lost your chance. Suck it up! Quite frankly wanting what you can't have and worse than that, burdening someone else with your feelings would be pretty damn selfish. You could have dumped your then boyfriend if this guy really mattered to you. You didn't - shows that he didn't matter enough to you. Now that he's moved on, you need to do the same.

Go to the wedding and be happy for him - that's an act of love for him. Doing anything else, including moping over what could have been and generally being miserable at his wedding - well that's an act of self-pity for yourself.

'k, rant over.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

It may be all that but still better than her feeling bad about it all her life that only if she had not missed the last chance. And maybe like she said the guy is also marrying this other girl just to compete with her. The guy is engaged not married yet!!!

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

A life is not a life without regrets. The more mature and reasonable person accepts that they have lost some opportunities and don't do something stupid instead. In our culture, an engagement is just as good as being married. If the engagement ends, then it will spell trouble for her, and him, and another life.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

I understand what you are saying but what if the guy was also marrying the girl just to get back at her? Even that way their lives wl be messed up.

It's obv foolish to have waited this long to let her feelings out but better late than never, IMO.

Re: Some sort of love triangle :frowning:

No, it’s not better late than never. It’s selfish. And selfish is as selfish does. Fine, she can express her feelings for the guy and if she’s lucky, he’ll love her back, dump his fiancee days before the wedding and these two will ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after…

Except wait, there is no happily ever after, because they will have earned the contempt of the family for their selfishness, which will follow them for the rest of the lives. But hey, in the larger scheme of things what’s a life lived without respect and forgiveness, at least they’ll have each other

Re: Some sort of love triangle :frowning:

I just hate love triangles :frusty:

Re: Some sort of love triangle :(

^ Same here. May Allah (swt) protect us from a tangled love life.
