Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Wrong…in most of the cases Muslims ask us to read the verse in its proper context. Sometimes they ask us to read a correct interpretation, not translation…or ask us to gain knowledge.

I can also refute the allegations the same way. But I am not trained at any Hindu religious school…so I accept that there are many pornographic depictions in our religious texts.

Once this Lahori 981 has opened a thread, he must come with a proper home work.

I will be thankful if he makes efforts and gives us to read this uncensored Verse of Bhavysia Purana in original.

May be these Gods wanted to bless the lady?

Ps, What is the difference if a God or a Prophet blesses (or gives social security to) a widow or a married lady thru sex?..Can I open a thread on this topic. Will it not be against the rules?

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

good work .... everyone .....

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

I was questioning myself that a religious book should not be so pornographic but sadly, I see no valid counter argument or counter proof yet.
*

But the topic was hindu religious book and please any hindu provide the truth of the matter besides doing the same technique of pointing finger the other way.*

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Well said anjjan. I was surprised to know only recently that vedas are available in written form. But then I never went to a madrisa !

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Very interesting to see you doing the same thing again and again. Pointing finger to try diverting the topic.
Maybe rape is considered a way to bless a lady in your turf!

Are hindu army people doing the same work to give blessings to kashmiris..the hindu god’s work? Or Shudar women are allowed to be raped so they can be ‘blessed’!

Come on, give sensible answer…or is it too much to ask from you? The word rape is mentioned in the scripture translation. Bring the true translation ot even the context so we can see the alleged lie or truth from you. For a moment just open your own books. No need to go to a school.

Spend some money and buy the books of your own religion before you can make firm belief on your religion. Plain reheatorics without knowledge don’t make any sense.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Anjaan if you agree that your gods (meaning the perception of god in your mind) are rapist, then would you give credit to all hindu rapists for doing the god's work?

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

You are so damn right this time! Now lock this moment of truth so it can help you in future.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Do you think if you ask someone if your mother had been raped in past, you will be able to give a sensible answer and start looking for medical records in the different hospitals in he city OR YOU WILL JUST BANG HIM ON THE FACE OR START TALKING ABOUT HIS OWN MOTHER / FATHER.

I AM SURE YOU WILL DO THE LATTER. IF NO, JUST LET ME KNOW.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

I will answer to all your enquiries.
First…you have to clarify your apprehensions of ‘Stick to the topic’.

   1. If the above statement is not a diversion from a ‘religious’ topic to a ‘political’ one?
  1. Anywhere if the Muslim army is strong the girls of the conquered are not safe. Saddam’ regime was the best example where life of Kurd girls was a hell.

(As per your many religious texts the Prophet himself ordered to distribute the ladies of the conquered, while keeping the best one for him. Or Quran allows having sex with your maid-servant.)
Was Saddam regime a best example of the Islamic followings?
The same your army did in Bangladesh independence war.
What is difference between raping a Sudra or raping your maid-servant?

In Islamic states after every rape came into light there are 1000 rape cases never made public.

Do you blame your religion for these crimes against humanity?

Want to know, what are your ‘definitions’ of…..’Stick to the topic’?

Re Kashmir…you always escape when I ask why the outcome is not same in Kashmir if our Army is behaving the same way as your army did in East Pakistan……but ‘stick to the topic’???

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Let us go back to the original post.

Are some of Hindu religious scriptures pornographic? I am sure that they are.

And I want to read the Verse mentioned in original. I know that this idiot Lahori (937 or 584) has started this thread with solo agenda to bash the faith of his forefathers without any proper homework. Is not important…….

So I will be thankful if someone post the original verse.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Lahore

You got the story wrong. I read your post and went back to talk to the resident experts in the subject here in Bangalore and there is no mention of the rape as you have mentioned anywhere in the bhavishya purana.

However, there is an interesting story as told in “Kathasagaram” about the visit of three deities to the hermitage of Sadhvi Anasuya:

Once, the consorts of the trinity, Parvati, Laxmi and Saraswati were arguing as to who was the most chaste among them. Naturally, each thought that the honor belonged to her. The divine sage Narada happened to be passing by. They put the question to him. He replied “Devis. While it is true that all of your incomparable in your chastity, Anasuya, wife of the Maharishi Atri is the most chaste among all women.”

The three Goddesses were amazed. Narada continued: “She is so chaste that she can even bake beans made of iron without using fire! The power of her austerity is such that no one can approach her with improper thoughts. She is devoted to her husband and has never swerved from the path of duty and rectitude.”
Naturally, the Goddesses thought that if a mere mortal woman could bake beans of iron, they should have no problem with it. They tried their best, but the beans remained unbaked. They were consumed with jealousy. Narada went away. The ladies summoned their husbands and said to them: " Narada was here and he said that Anasuya, wife of Atri is the most chaste woman alive. We wish to ascertain this fact. Go to her get her to commit an indiscretion."

Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma did not like this plan at all, but at their wives’ insistence they went to the hermitage of the sage Atri. The went disguised as three young sages. Atri was away from home. So Anasuya received them and asked them to stay for dinner, at which time her husband was expected to return.
Now was the time to put their plan in action. The three sages said, “Respected Madam, We have taken special vows and are currently observing a special kind of fast. We cannot eat anything, unless the person serving the food is naked.”
Anasuya was in a quandary, she could not send away her guests unfed, nor could she be naked in front of men. By the power of her chastity and penance, she at once divined who the three sages really were. She prayed to Brahman, and lo and behold, the three sages were turned into infants! She then disrobed and fed the three babies. She then put the babies to bed and put her clothes back, and got back to her housework.

When Atri got back, he was amazed to see three very beautiful babies in his hermitage. His wife soon explained to him as to how the three Gods came here to test her virtue and their strange condition. Atri approved of her actions. Upon his request, Anasuya turned back the three babies back into the three Gods.
The Gods were very much pleased with Anasuya. The offered a boon to the saintly couple. The couple chose to see the three Gods, who are really manifestation of the supreme principle, the Brahman, in a single form. The Gods took up that single form, with attributes of Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. This form is known as Dhattatreya. They then wished every imaginable happiness on the sage and his wife, and returned to their heavenly abode.

If you have any book that has published as stated by you, then please remember it is a book of hate and I advise you to look for true knowledge elsewhere. What you are reading is misguiding you and taking you away farther from truth. Please refer to some authentic source. If you want any good books on Hindu religion, let me know and I can suggest you a host of them wherein you can clear all your doubts.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Do you know the meaning of sticking to the topic, what you keep preaching to others?

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Victory, I'll reply soon..... just don't have enough time to type a few words right now.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Good efforts. In fact when this Lahori 874 started this thread I was suspicious because I had listened this story sometime back in my childhood and was not sure if it was from any Purana.

Anyhow this Lahori 964 will come back with more idiotic questions…do answer him, I enjoy his idiocity.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

i hope u realize that such twisting of stories to defame certain religions/characters is a common practice for those who hate these religions/characters....

and seeing that how a story from ur religious book has been changed to mock ur religion, u will learn not to pick up false stories about Islam from here and there and come with silly comments about Islam and its Prophet....
cuz then ppl laugh at u also similarly enjoying ur idiocity....

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

Okay,

Mr. Victory, I gave you a reference Bhavsiya Purana 3:4:17: 67-78 SPECIFICALLY

If you say based on your “said” or “Heard” notion that there is no mention of rape in Bhavsiya Purana, what does 3:4:17: 67-78 say then?

Come up with proper source, correction and reference. Remember, I am no authority on Hinduism, I am just reading it from different sources. You are Hindu, you know your religion and it is your duty to provide me WHAT Bhavsiya Purara 3:4:17: 67-78 says?

There is a website about purans. I tried to know myself ALREADY what this specific verse says in Bhavsiya Puran. To my suprise, it was the height of deception when I say that the Puran was presented on the net in “Sunskirt” script and it was being read in Hindi (Urdu)… My question was why these so called pundits were not giving the English translation with the “sanskirt”???

If someone who does not know “sanskirt” or “Hindi” how would he know what is actually written there???

Our Quran is always available in Arabic script and the translation is given with it in many languages so as everyone could know it.

Now stop this fabrication and assumption and admit thAT YOU YOURSELF HAVE NOT READ bHAVSIYAH PURAN. ADMIT THAT YOU YOURSELF DO NOT KNOW SANSKIRT LANGUAGE… Admit that you have never seen or read any Puran…

@ Anjjan

Now that everyone know your non-sense, let me remind you once again that you have already admitted in this thread that you have never read any puran (out of the 19 exixting). You have also admitted to Sadiyah that Purans are not present in Indian house hold and it is difficult to check against anything what I am saying.

In the light of such statements, you are not to speak in this thread. And you definitly cannot speak bad against any other religion or religious identity if you yourself cannot support or clarify what I am writting.

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.

@ Mods

There is a specific request from me. As you can see, I am trying to discuss something. I have tried my best to reopen this thread (Sadiyah knows it)............. I want only one thing from you. Please do not close this thread but control it getting derailed.

Specifically Anjjan has made multiple attempts to blindly detrack this thread and counter attack with baseless attacking comments. Please control this derailing. I really need a good discussion environement...

Your truely

VICTORY

Would you also like to comment on the following from your experience. Please note, I have personally checked the authenticity of these verses from Bhagawat Geeta....... I have the weblink etc and everything. I just want to know your opinion......

Endowed with such a faith, he endevours to worship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.
Bhagavat Gita 7-22

Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.
Bhagavat Gita 7-23

"The ignorant believe that un-manifest Para Brahma (One God) incarnates or takes manifestations, because they do not completely understand My highest, immutable, incomparable, and transcendental existence."
Bhagavat Gita 7-24

Re: Some queries about Hinduism, comments appareciated.
