ok there is a missing s but admit it bhai.. u didnt write sanskrit. u wrote sunskirt and sanskirt. .. even if u say that its just misplacing of i and r.. nobody is going to believe it because of ur history about hindu bashing.

Lets get back to topic. I checked back. Yes at one point I have spelled it as Sanskrit, replaced a with u… but I did not do it intentionally. Cause I am trying to discuss things and I am not a fool to ruin this thread with such a small spelling mistake when what I am discussing is a much much important topic…
So would you please tell what Bhavsiya Purana 3:4:17: 67-78 says?
And what about the quotes from Geeta that say “God is ONE” ?

My post was perfectly in line of the topic. I asked the question based on the religious book of hindus and was curious to know if that book was ONE of the many reasons why hindu army does what it does.

deedar and lahore u brought up this topic not for any debate. This thing is absolutely baseless. There is nothing like that in bhavishya purana. If u look up, u could see that atri is son of Brahma. U imagine having sex with ur daughter in law. Besides I know wheere u got this.. should i give u the source of that too.
Moderator should i give u that site where Mr. Lahore got this topic from.U could also find the rebuttal in the same forum.

Look buddies.Hindus are not taught in their school about the basics of hinduism.Vedas, upanishads are not taught at schools. Usually its the parents who teach the children about what Hinduism is all about. We believe that our teachers are more imp. than God himself. As Kabir said its the teacher who shows u the knowledge and his devotion is more for the teacher than to the God. Knowledge is god. And to me it is my parents.
There is only one God. but GOd manifest itself in different forms. He is omnipresent and can be found in iron, rock or anything, living or non-living. Quest for knowledge is quest for God.
U can find the whole lot of the philosophy of God in hinduism in lot of the sites in the internet. Just google. Lahore u r very good at this right.
A note. Puranas are meant as a story with a morale so that lay men could understand the ideals in society. manusmriti again is not code of conduct of Hinduism which is followed now. Manusmriti is outdates. Mahabharata and Ramayana are full fledged epics which again gives u set of ideals that would be preferable ina society. But vedas(knowledge) together with Upanishads are basics of practicing Hinduism.

Do you find that Hindus themselves are interested in exploring this idea instead of one kick negation en la your Madrisa trained intellectuals style?
Why Hindus do not know about their religious texts and books? There are thousands of these texts, each one consisting thousands of updated and outdated shlokas. One life is not enough to read all of them.
And I have already explained you that we Hindus do not have any Madrisa type system for minors. Otherwise we might have competed with you in religious stupidity.
If Hindu Gods were rapists….let this idiot Lahori 863 finds out the actual words, even if it is in Sanskrit, no problem. Just giving some no.s of verses is not enough.

I have clearly said in the forum that I have hard copies (photocopies) of some pagees that I receieved from a Hindu friend of mine in Syracuse, NY who is considering converting to Islam.
