I would change (I would be pissed - but I would change). Truth of the matter is, if he said i didn't look good - I wouldn't FEEL good the rest of the night if i didn't change. Besides, it goes both ways - when i tell him his shirt looks heinous, I expect him to change as well ;)

I'd ask him to explain. I'd reconsider. I'd look for another outfit that I'd want to wear. And later I would tell him to take me shopping for more clothes that we both approve of. :D

its a diff thing altogether. we have to take other things ( makeup, accessories, hairdo, shoes (for some girls)) into consideration when planning an outfit.. besides.. he didnt go all blind when u were getting ready.

see, when i get dressed up, my husband stares at me for 5mins, and then says whose the clown makeup for.....( thats him being humourous...yes funny.)
