Depends upon what their mutual faith/understanding is/was in this regard (that should have been clarified from both sides, before marriage). If it is Islam and they had considered/agreed upon before marriage to have a mutual interference in such sensitive personal matters, then his duty is only to humbly, politely and respectfuly remind once in a light jolly loving mood (without over-insisting & enforcing his views upon her) that Allah (swt) and the Prophet (saw) do not like tight/revealing/immodest clothes. If she isn't willing to do adjustments, then he should be caring and let her do as she wishes to and pray in front of Allah (swt) at night to bless him with wisdom to effectively convey Allah's orders (and ways of the Prophet saw) with "Hikmah", to guide both of them to the right path and to soften their heart to easily accept/absorb mutual sincere advises for each other, also what is best for them in this life and hereafter.
A Husband is not a policeman to enforce the orders of Allah (swt) upon her and a wife is not a policewoman to throw his humble request (reminder of her faith) into the garbage. It is a pure sincere relationship that requires understanding, love & respect of mutual POV, without any EGOISTIC confrontation/conflicts and unnecessary arguments. May Allah (swt) guide us all.

Seems a bit unusual…wives usually know what their husbands will approve of beforehand, so either she is deliberately testing him or he’s had a sudden change of heart.
and sometimes’ its jsut unintentional, I may not realize something is revealing but someone taller can find an issue with it…

I have(many times) and would change if my husband asked me to..afterall its his right to see me dressed up not everyone else's..even if its an all female gathering and he asks me to change I would just to please him and not feel guilty about it later..its not the end of the world:@:
