Ok, so what did you guys have for thanksgiving? I had meat loaf (ground chicken and beaf, I would have added ground turkey too if I had any on hand) with mashed potato and gravy. Post your pics if you took some. 
Ok, my owen wasn’t working and I had to make it on the stove which wasn’t easy. It was prety difficult to get the crust on the top.
oh and I didn’t have any cilantro for garnish. Ok ya so pics don’t look quite exciting but it was yumious

Oo i had a turkey, homemade mashed potatoes (were kinda lumpy but made frm scratch), gravy, mashed turnips, cranberry sauce n beets and stove top stuffing..

i had sabar and shuker…which i have every day..i don’t need a STAMPED THANXGIVING DAY for that.

i made pinwheels (tortilla with veggie cream cheese); roast turkey; roasted new potatoes, carrots and apples; cranberry ginger sauce, gravy and mashed potato; stuffing; vegetable manicotti; for dessert : persimmon verrines and chocolate truffles. all homemade and alhumdulillah everything turned out great!
special thanks to syani1 and SGC for the roast turkey and truffles pointers. the turkey was succulent and beautifully browned! and everyone loved the truffles, they are mostly gone!
this was the decor i used.. placed bowls of cranberries and orange flowers or cranberries n candles floating in water, and what’s funny is, i caught one of my guests eating the cranberries right out of the bowl, lol

I made baked chicken with honey pepper sauce, mashed potatoes and roast broccoli. Everything was yummmm.

It’s not nice to post a picture of such delicious looking truffles…Oh my god! It looks sooo..like it’s going to melt in your mouth and the texture..AHH!
