Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

you know what helps you lose weight more than green tea? lemon tea. I buy Twinnings Morning Detox (you usually only find it in big Tescos or Sainsburys, not in the small ones) and add a splash of lemon juice to it, drink it after every meal - the lemon is supposed to cut through your fat and the warm water helps digest it or something.

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

lol@oops

I completely forgot about lemon water! I'm gonna start that again! Lemon water is best in the morning on an empty stomach, can't remember why, but I'll look it up. Also, green tea, you can drink it with pretty much every meal. My cousin told me that the Chinese people she work with carry huge flasks of it and just drink it all day, in place of water, and she says they are all skinny...lol. Not to stereotype or anything, but maybe they are onto something.

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

looool - this is such Pakistani thinking. I'm not criticising cus my Mum says exactly the same thing: 'they drink green tea all the time and they're all skinny - have you ever seen a fat Chinese person - so it must work!'

hehe, funny how we all think the same....

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

chinese people here at my workplace do the same.
but we do have some FATTT chinese people :P so the theory fails :P

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

those green tea are actually herbal tea. they have different herbs in them for every kind of problem like headache, bodyache etc etc. they eat really less, chinese ladies OMG u cant believe how less they eat. just like 4 table spoon of rice with half a piece of grilled chicken :P so why they would gain weight.

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

for those of you lost weight by green tea, which one do you drink

Re: So umm… Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

I drink Lipton’s green tea once a day and i don’t think its helping much

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

^lol that is why I asked for those of you who are seeing results which green tea are they using.

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

:D

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

u r absolutely rite lemon water is heaven!!!!

i dont think that u'll lose weight becoz of greentea....its just that u r replacing tea n coffee with something having less calories n less caffine...u can drink warm water instead...it would have same effect...lol....so greentea just gives taste to plain water...

if u quit cold drinks n cold water....n drink plenty of liquids (warm water with lemon or greentea, fresh juices(not cold))then its fine...

but it doesnt mean that take high calorie food alongwith liquids lol

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

green tea does nothing!

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

Ladies, our diets are really poor. We should fix up. How about swapping the midmorning snack everyday for like an Apple or something.....I dunno.....I need to lose weight!!!!!!!! :(

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

Our diets are pathetic. Lets just keep a point mark. For every wrong eating, I will deduct scores from you all.

Re: So umm... Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

I like the points idea Daffy. Every time I'm about to eat something bad I'll remind myself I have to report it on here and will get points, so will try to refrain! Let's see if it works.

Can I ask a q about exercise: do u girls get dressed for exercise, or u just do it? I usually change into tracksuit bottoms, a loose top, & make sure I wear a sports bra (cus with all that running around they'll get saggy if u don't wear one....lol) but that's what stops me from exercising - I can't be bothered to go thru the whole routine of changing etc so I just don't exercise.....anyone else have similar problems?

Re: So umm… Thinking about losing weight for your big day?

Sure apple! All of you are welcome to join the thread…

but please scold us for what ever wrong we eat and also tell us how important it is to look thin on the wedding
