And yeah Tooba, Sunita Marshal, Neha, Amna Haq...Maha, Faeza..Rachael are ALL sanwali...yet pretty!
i know but they decieve the general public with their model shots in which they look fair and light eyed! once our models (held to be the ideals of beauty) start to embrace their natural coloring the general public will too!
but when you have ladies as gorgeous as angelina jolie getting nose jobs...what hope is there for the rest of us! the epitome of beauty...marilyn monroe herself got nose and chin surgery and bleached her hair blonde to be the perfect blue eyed blonde. it is suspected her eyes werent even blue but brown.
Dark and mysterious women are almost invariably preferred by men so if you happen to blessed with a natural tan, be proud of it. If anything is to be done, just work on an even skin tone and let your natural beauty shine. When you start skrewing with mother nature, she gets mad and she surely gets even. You'll just end up with early wrinkles and sallow, tired looking skin. I'm a gori who spent my younger years baking myself in the sun for that "Girl from Ipanema" look and now I have crinkly eyes and skin too soon. How I wish I had appreciated and worked WITH what I had instead of trying to attain something different! And listen, even if you do attain a whiter face, you just end up looking like you want to puke if the rest of you is goldeny tan. GO with and appreciate what you have!!! Beleive me, its the prettiest look on the planet to be dark-n-desi!!
^ so true....zeenat aman, dimple kapadia, rekha, isha kopikar (spelling?) whats not hot abt them...i am sure they dont have to worry abt freckles and veins showing thru...or the stupid mosquito bites... :(
this is ridiculouse so many girls out there want to be the "white" when i ws in pak in nov i saw soooo many girls wid white faces bt really dark nekcs hands feet it is an absolute mania out there
a tan on a ghori looks diffeerent than darkening of skin on us. when we darken it turns brown when they darken it turns bronze/copper/gold WE all know this.
Hi pakifairy, I am not very fair either but my complexion is not dull too. I use norangi ubtan. Its very famous in Pak and works real well. I am in Dubai and bari chaan been k baad aik shop mili hai jahan yeh ubtan milti hai. U might get hold of it in some paki shop. Ubtan se sirk face white nahi lagta cuz yeh haath paaoon per bhi lagate hain, even tone k liye.
hey laylaa..i reside in dubai as well...may i know where exactly is this shop located in dubai ???
Go to Pakistan and get that skin polish thing, I have seen dark girls come back all fair and pale. Also the reason why u never get to see a dark bride in pakistan nowdays, they all turn white before the wedding!!!
Omg datz jst lyk hw it is here arnd here girls do that..wen wen others ask them wat have u used for ur face 2 become fair theyre lyk nothing nothing jst fair and lovely bluddy liars! l00l
i dont get it either, sahar. there are people i know who are SO bothered by things like lack of height, too much height (wtf?), fairness, shape of eyes, shade of skin, thickness of hair etc.
my fiance is 6'7" and i'm 5'2" and the first thing people said wasn't "oh how lovely, you've found your soulmate, congratulations!" but "you're completely physically incompatible". scuse me??? i think we'll figure out the physical part on our own, thank you very much.
it really ticks me off- who cares what your skin color is, or how tall you are, or how thin you are- oh man, thin. that REALLY ticks me off. i'd like to know how many anorexia/bulimia sufferers there are in pakistan. theres more pressure to be thin over there than in north america, and north america has a ton of pressure!
hayatkhans- you should definitely let your hubby know how his comments make you feel. maybe ask him when he's going to successfully get a tan since tans are so much hotter looking.
U absolutely right like im also 5'2 some people calls me BONI what is this yar but Thank God main kabhi bhi complex main mubtula nahi hoti i reply them k short height k kaafi plus points hotay hain even k aap kaafi young bhi lagtay ho but some peoples areeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Although there are no particular foods that will lighten your skin instantly, a balanced diet definitely helps by giving your skin a healthy glow. Drinking an optimum amount of water hydrates your skin and keeps it blemish free. Some recommendations regarding diet are as follows –
Avoid excessive consumption of heavy and oily foods.
Incorporate whole cereals, pulses, fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Drink at least 4-5 liters of water every day. Water washes out the toxins from the body.
who's saying to tan? most desis already have a tanned complexion to begin with.. no need for additional tanning. just be happy with it.
a tan on a ghori looks diffeerent than darkening of skin on us. when we darken it turns brown when they darken it turns bronze/copper/gold WE all know this.
The most important thing is even skin tone, no matter what the color is. And natural color is almost invariably the most attractive. As far as Anjelina Jolie, I doubt sincerely that she had a nose job but its possible....you have to remember that the photos they publish in mags have gone thru all kinds of airbrushing and perfecting. No need for a scalpel when the photogs can do their magic kwim? As far as the lips....all you need to see is her baby daughter. It is AMAZING. This tiny little infant has the exact same lips as the mom. And its just beyond reason that she had botox injected into her baby girls lips!
oh her lips are definitely the real thing. the nose looks done to me. however, she is beautiful to me both before and after so it really doesnt matter. not to mention she's changed the way she dresses radically. i liked her in her early crazy years!...but i still love how she carries off a gown on the red carpet with those tattoos! LOVE her.
pakifairy: i know what u mean. i think if you take care of your skin, use proper sunscreen and exercise, take a good diet etc then even if you do get tanned it will be a nice even beautiful tan as opposed to the maasi look.
Listen all of u, be careful of these skin whiteners, many, if not all of them contain chemicals that can damage your skin. If u really must lighten up, use a lighter coloured foundation... and dont forget to apply if on your NECK too!!!
