اس سوال کا جواب مذاھب کے بنیادی عقیدہ آخرت میں پایا جاتا ہے، گو کہ دنیا میں بھی ابراھیمی ادیان کی شریعتیں کچھ کم ستم ظریف نہیں مگر آخرت کی سزائیں اور ان کا تصور انسان کو دہشت زدہ کر دیتا ہے، لاشعوری طور پر انسان میں سفاکیت بھرنے اور دوسرے سے نفرت کو بڑھانے میں نظریہِ آخرت ایک کلیدی کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔
‘کفار و مشرکین کے لئیے اللہ تعالی نے جہنم کا دائمی عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے’، یعنی انہیں ہمیشہ کے لئیے آگ کی جھیل میں ڈالا جائے گا، جہاں انہیں ہر طرح کا عذاب دیا جائے گا۔ ایک عام مذھبی کے ذہن میں ایک غیر مذھبی شخص کے لئیے اسی عذاب کا تصور موجود رہتا ہے، نتیجتاً وہ یہ سمجھتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کافر سے شدید نفرت کرتا ہے، مذھبی شخص اللہ کا پیروکار اور بندہ بننے کے لیئے لاشعوری یا شعوری طور پر اس شخص سے نفرت کرنے لگتا ہے۔ جب نفرت بڑھتی ہے تو اسکی شدید ترین شکل تشدد و قتال کی صورت میں سامنے آتی ہے، یہی سوچ داعش اور طالبان جیسے شدت پسند گروہوں کی قاتلانہ و ظالمانہ نفسیات میں واضع طور پر کار فرماء ہے۔
خدا کی طرف سے دردناک عذاب کی نوید کی وجہ سے مومنین غیر مومنین کو صرف اور صرف جہنم کا ایندہن سمجھتے ہیں، اسی باعث فرقہ وارانہ اور مذھبی فسادات ابھرتے ہیں۔ آخرت میں انسان کے بہت سے افعال کے لیئے شدید سزاؤں کا بیان معاشرے میں چھوٹی چھوٹی غلطیوں پر انتہائی اقدام کا باعث بن جاتا ہیں۔ لاشعوری طور پر ان افعال کی سزا کو انسان آخرت کی تصوراتی سزا کے پیمانے پر ماپنے لگتا ہے جسکے باعث دنیا میں ان گناہوں کے لئیے کوئی بھی ظلم و تشدد سے بھرپور سزا اسکو کم لگنے لگتی ہے۔ اس وجہ سے سفاکیت و سنگدلی کا معیار بڑھ جاتا ہے۔ بصورت دیگر آخرت کی شدید سزائیں انسان کو شدید احساسِ گناہ کے باعث نفساتی مریض بنا دیتی ہیں۔ اور یہ شدید احساسِ گناہ بھی دوسروں کے لئیے نفرت کے طور پر ظاہر ہوتا ہے، کیونکہ جو خود سے نفرت کرتا ہے وہ دوسروں سے زیادہ شدید نفرت کرتا ہے۔
انسان کسی کا ہاتھ کاٹنے، کسی پر کوڑے برسانے، کسی کو سنگسار کرنے یا پھر کسی مشرک کو قتل کرنے کے بعد یہ سوچ کر اپنے آپ کو تسلی دے لیتا ہے کہ خدا نے بھی تو ایسے لوگوں سے نفرت ہی رکھی ہے، ہم نے ان کو تکلیف دے کر اسکا ہی کام کیا ہے، یہ سوچ انسان کی اندرونی انسانیت کو مارنے کے لیئے کافی ہوتی ہے۔ جب ایک مذھب کے لوگ دوسرے مذھب یا نظریے کے لوگوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں(گو کہ یہ ظلم انکے اپنے مذھب میں منع بھی ہو)تب بھی انکو دکھ اس لئیے نہیں ہوتا کیونکہ وہ یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ انکا خدا دوسروں کے بجائے انکو زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے اور انکے اس فعل کو نظر انداز کر دے گا۔
اس لئیے مذاھب انسان میں شعوری اور لاشعوری دونوں ذرائع سے نفرت بھرتے ہیں، اسی باعث مذھبی لوگ انسانیت کے جذبے سے عاری دنیا میں خونی درندوں کی طرح چیر پھاڑ کرنے کو اپنے خدا کی اعلیٰ ترین خدمت مانتے ہیں۔

Trust me girlie, I read the statistics. It is funny, I was the one that brought up a country’s religiosity and violent crime rate as a semi-joke comparison and you were the one who took the bait so no one asked me anything because you were the one who took the bait that I set out. I essentially did what you did by making an assertion between societal issues and presence of religion to try and make a point :D. Using one example of Saudi Arabia against the U.S. does not matter because the sources I provided did an overall comparison of many less religious countries vs. more religious countries and found that the less religious countries fared better in regard to human rights and less crime compared to more religious countries. The article even compared less religious parts of the US and more religious parts of the US and essentially found the same thing. Also being less religious makes you more violent? LMAOOOOO. What a joke. It is not me who is devoid of basic logic. It is you buddy.

I didn’t even dispute the statistics you gave, I just proved that the “links” I provided were better since they did an overall look comparing several countries. I do not want religion to be completely exterminated from society, it simply should not cloud the judgment of people when it comes to progressing as a group. I do not see how anyone can look at the Muslim world today and think to themselves that religion and how it being utilized did not contribute to its condition.
