Re: sink full of bartans

saleeka mand khawateen kay kitchen hameesha cham chamatay hain.

My sister keeps her kitchen clean, I never saw loads of bartan in her sink.

Re: sink full of bartans

Easier said STA..when one has 3 boys of the naughty school going gae and no domestic help either ..it's natural to have bartan piled up on the sink. :p

Re: sink full of bartans

Hareem is working hard.

Re: sink full of bartans

still all that doesn’t equate to homeschooling 3 kids under the age of 8 IMHO.

When I had only one kid and he was away in the nursery for few hours, I was part time working and my house used to be cham cham.

In fact, I am renovating my house at the moment and doing all the paintwork and moving heavy furniture etc, not many women I’ve seen like doing a builder’s job and teach 3 kids at the same time.

Re: sink full of bartans

agreed.

Re: sink full of bartans

Re: sink full of bartans

Yes, I know it is kind of pain if more dishes in sink.

Re: sink full of bartans

^I bought some from a shop from Hounslow.

Re: sink full of bartans

Cool. Are they easier to wash?

Re: sink full of bartans

hehe…they are so cute that I haven’t even used them yet. :cb:

The solution is simple, execution requires cooperation.

All dishes go straight to dishwasher after being used, only exceptions being large items that may not fit, handwash only items, and items used while dishwasher is running.

Run dishwasher when it's full, and then promptly empty it.

To get ourselves in the habit coughbegumcough at one time we put away everything except 4 plates, bowls, glasses, cups etc. And you could only use from that daily use 'set' if it's dirty and you need an item, handwash it.

No piles, simple life, simple solution.

Re: sink full of bartans

omg i could never survive without a dishwasher. It helps sooo much, def. worth it. especially if you have kids!

Re: sink full of bartans

I can assure you that is not the case.
aside from one year, during my uni and grad school I had gora roomies and not a single one did what you just noted.
