"As you all know now after inamamam' statement that shoaib's fitness is a not a problem but it is his attitute. Faisal, you are right Paksitani players and former players have a habbit of spilling dirty laundary to the public. Inzi and other players should always avoid it as it hammers team and player spirit.
Before this tour with India we were talking about consistent bastmen and bowlers after the tour Younis, Shoaib Mailk, Asim and Karam have emerged as the players who can handle big situations. About bowler Rana is doing his thing...if we search we can find suitable replacement to Shoaib. Shoaib will come in the team and is less likely to be a part of the team no one has been successful in handling him and his ego since Wasim as a captain. I am worried that his entry might effect team's cohesion.

What to do? Is this a battle btw Inzi & Shoaib which is affecting Pakistani cricket? Wasnt SHoaib punished for disciplinary issues by being left out of Indian tour and early call back from Australia? What are the disciplinary charges against SHoaib? Managers (Haroon Rasheed) report had one disciplinary violation which included two other players and was dealt with, so what disciplinary charges is Mota Inzi referrring? Or, is this just the simpleton, average guy who cannot tolerate dissent trying to assert his total authority?
Shoaib Malik hum naam of Akhter throws a match in domestic cricket and Inzi supports his player, isnt that just plain and blatant double standards? Or, its get Shoaib…plain and simple…

Shoaib Akhtar was left out of the Pakistan squad for the tour of West Indies on disciplinary grounds, Inzamam-ul-Haq has said. It was widely assumed that Shoaib had been left out because he was unfit. Akhtar, who had recovered from his hamstring injury, was asked to shed some weight to be fully fit.
“Shoaib has disciplinary problems and I believe no player is bigger than the team," Inzamam was quoted as saying by The News. "We’ve had these problems with him in the past and my concern is that it has a negative impact on other players also.” Akhtar has been questioned several times in the past for his off-field activities and his approach towards the game.
Inzamam also brushed off the suggestion that the team would miss its spearhead. “What I learnt in India was that when every player contributes and you play strictly as a team, the absence of even the best player is not felt. In the West Indies to be successful we’ve to again play as a team and with spirit to do well. The strength of our bowling attack is not such a big issue.”
Pakistan have never won a series in the West Indies and are scheduled to play in three one-day international and two Tests. The first one-dayer is on May 18 in St.Vincent.
Younis Khan will lead the side in the first Test, in the absence of Inzamam, who has to serve a one-match ban for showing dissent in the third Test against India in Bangalore. Inzamam remarked that Younis would find no difficulty in captaining the side. “Even if I’m not playing I’ll be there involved in everything and the planning. As far as Younis Khan’s ability to lead the side is concerned, he is a good future prospect and will be an asset for the team in future.”

yar...common guys...time to give Shuaib a break....i am sure he has learnt his lesson by missing couple of tours...he is an asset of the team and his inclusion will only make the team stronger !!!

had it not been for tauqeer zia he would have been treated the same way ages ago
he yaps and yaps and yaps and yaps about winning games for pakistan awritee he might have won a game here a game there but how many series have we won just because of him maybe only the nz series he was shyt against india before india and pretty much the same was the case against the aussie one or two performances dont make him a great player the prob wid him is that he is a resident of la la land where he is the supreme and the world revolves around him its about time he come to his sense and realise that being humble is the way to glory look at inzi from 2003 WC till the present day he never cried or moaned or blamed anyone like akhter if only he grew up we would be a better team but we arent bad without him and i rather have a team then some idiot who can win me 4 out of 10 matches then a team which can win me 7 out of 10 mr akhter i will respect u when u grow up

OK so now we have a situation where people who are still against shoiab akhtar are saying that he shouldn't be in the side because of his attitude. Earlier they were sayiing that he should be in the side only when he is fit. I am 100% sure if PCB would have selected shoiab for WI tour, these people who have praised the decision of his selection by saying that now shoiab would have got his lesson and its a right move to take him back. Make up your imnd guys, if shoiab attitude is the problem how would you know that until and unless you give him a chance to sit in the dressing room. There is always a lobby who either supports a player or is against him in Pakistan cricket. Fitness is all bull**** we all know now after inzi' statement. Its a lobby who is aginst shoiab akhtar and they don't want him in the side anymore. That was the reason his fiitness test was never taken. It is always about player powers. What is the gurantee that by the time england will tour pakistan, they will take him back in the side. How will they know then that shoiab will not have attitude problem. The only problem I have is that why can't PCB have the balls to tell openly that we are not taking him becasue of his attitude and don't give fitness crap because they nevr took a fitness test.

well there is never any gurantee for his attitude but something can be tried to teach him a lesson!. and when ur career is at stake! u will fix ur attitude. this tour is all about reinforcing the lesson. if it still doesn't work then he has no place in the team after england comes to pak. shoaib malik is a good example, becuz he knew what he did was wrong and he apologized. he deserved punishment and he got it.

Exactly similar things were said during the indian tour that keeping him out will teach him a lesson . Salim altaf said during the ODI’s in India that although he is fit and will not be considered for slection in ODI’s. we will consider him for WI tour. And you said that WI tour is aall about reinforcing the lesson and if it doesnt work then he has no place in the side. My frieind how will you know that this strategy will work when you won’t give him a chance to be a part of the team.

i don't think we r really disagring on anything except one fact. i think u r saying that he shud be tried for the WI tour to see his attitude and i'm saying he shud be tried for England's tour of Pakistan. but i do believe that he needs to be given one more chance to prove himself.

All i am saying is that it was said by the PCB during the indian tour that shoaib will get a chance for WI tour. Guess what he didn't even get a chance to take a fitness test before the team announement, so what makes you think they will give him a chance for england tour knowing that PCB comprises of bunch of dopeheads who say something else and then do exactly the opposite. I mean even now there is no coordination between the board and the captain of the team, PCB has given an entirely different reason of not selecting him and now inzi came up with different. It is only a matter of player power, they don't want him to be a part of the team. If they sincerely wanted to give shoiab a chance they could have sent him with team for sheikh zyed cup. It was an unofficial tournament but could have been a fitness and behavior test for shoab. Inzi is a great player and I have huge huge respect for him but it appears like he along with some other senior players are holding some personal grudge agianst him.

I second that. Inzi should not say this in public. I think the very strong message is being sent to Akhtar already. Now leave it on him to read and understand. If he does not, keep dropping him. But I think after this episode, he will have to decide for his future.
Inzi is doing the same mistake what Akhtar has been doing for so long. Barking in public/media.
