Ur respecting him for support of ur community is understandable, but do U for even a second, feel sorry for those ppls whose near and dear ones are not with them just because of his hate ideology?

depends on what you're referring to. there will always be place for xenophobia/chauvinism especially within ethnic groups who feel trampled by outsiders (like the marathis do in bombay). but i don't think the rise and embrace of another icon of bigotry like bal thackeray is possible in the current environment. the most you'll get is the watered down prejudice and diminutive stature of his nephew raj.
