Because the question is not relevant. You miss the point. The attack isnt on Jews, its on Laws thats say denying the Holocaust is a capital offense. The Holocaust could have involved ginger kids, and it wouldnt have a made a difference. The issue is free speech, however repugnant, not Jews per say.
The relevant question is, why is it ok to offend Muslims, but not ok to deny the holocaust and offend Jews among others?

Completely disagree, you are only looking at Glasses 2001 when the world has gone thru many many changes. How insecure were people in 'muslim' countries say 20-30 years ago? You have to take into account how foreign forces have played/manipulated the geopolitics in the region/muslim world.

That 1000 years of 'manipulation' you are talking about is not really 'manipulations', those were open/all-out wars. Last few decades we are seeing 'proxy-wars', in proxy war there is no clear enemy, no clear battle-ground, its the common public that suffers more than the actual armies. In those wars there was clear out-come after some days/weeks of fighting and country/region would go back to normal life afterwards.
As for spreading terrorism in name of 'mujahideen', why don't you ask Mr Perfect Democracy about the definition?

ofcourse they were manipulations. the English were given a trading post and the right tp fortify it and that's how it started. Mongolian, Moghul and Arabic visitors and tradesmen were welcomed and given preferential hospitaility and that's how those things started.
And in all cases not just armies but common people suffered. For example, a large number became or were converted to islam as a result of those wars and subsequent occupation (but for that there wont be a Pakistan or the muslim population of some 150+ million in India). If the US occupies Pakistan and converts a large percentage of Pakistanis to Christianity or Judiasm, would you consider that sufferings or not?
I know it is bitter pill and you'd like to think you're victims of the west but not victims of arabs and moghuls but facts say otherwise.
