I once heard that women should not use blades or something as when they vdie the janaza becomes really heavy as this is haram.... but don,t think it is true .........no idea...

It is haraam to run around with stinky unshaved underarms. Pubes have to go in summer else how are you going to swim, in winter apki marzi.

I don’t remember having ever heard of this rather foolish notion of ‘shaving or use of metal blades being considered haram for women in Islam’. I think this seemingly mythical concept is somehow a derivative of sikh religion because that is the only religion I know of that prohibits the use of metal on any part of body; and it is common knowledge that despite being an Islamic country, many customs followed by many Pakistani people even today are either influenced or borrowed directly from hindu/sikh culture.

i.e. once one starts shaving their legs, they'll have to keep doin 'em - otherwise thicker coarser annoying hairs start to come & it'll take ages/time consuming to keep yourself hairless after that

actually, thats kind of a misconception about the hair getting thicker when you shave. I talked to a cosmetologist about it one time and she explained all about it. When you remove hair by waxing or tweezing, you pull out the hair and its root and usually cause at least a little damage to the root. It takes time to heal and then to grow a new brand new hair. New hairs start off fine and thin and over time it will grow thicker and stronger. Numerous removals in this way can damage the whole follicle enough that it may never grow back and so there will be less hair to remove.
When you shave, you're just cutting the hair off at the point that it is in its growth. It just continues on its growth pattern, maintains its thickness and health can even get thicker depending on its stage in its normal growth pattern. It seems coarser because shaving cuts it at a sharp angle. It doesnt actually make hair coarser or cause it to grow faster, it just keeps it on its normal growth pattern.
It made sense to me when she explained it. I still shave my legs, its so painful to wax! But it really is nicer after waxing.
