Anyway, I don’t believe this hair plucking. Those must be really strong hearted women who did that as you can get goosebumps and even blood if your skin is dry enough.

there are techniques for it
u do it after showering, so the hair follivles are looser
when waxing u put a layer of babypowder to dry the skin etc
i bet there are more techniques which i dont kno

Ermm... what about the saying that "every single hair on our body (except pubic hair) reads sanaA (Quranic verses)." Thats why we should not shave hair off our arms and legs.
I don't know if it holds true. I've often questioned those I've heard it from, but no one came up with any proof.

saieen, their salwars will ride up an inch or two and even at the ankle u can c a whole hairy bush.. again, talkin abt the grlz in my family..

hmm i think this whole "not shaving business" is more to do with not using metal blades on ur skin... they consider that haram. My bhabhi once told me that too.. as for "removing" hair...everyone in my family does that.. and we start from when we hit puberty...
