Share your at home movie viewing experience.

Is it plain old TV and DVD, VCR system or something exotic like LDP projector, Some big name audio system , blue ray ?

Mine is a 50 inch plasma, Bose audio system and now PS3 used as blue ray disc player.

It is fun to watch movies with that audio on full blast all lights off and some popcorn, chilghozay , moong phali , pistachio , kajoo or any kind of munchies to go with it. Blue Ray DVD system of movies is awesome.

re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

Pretty much the same, except I'm a LCD person. Have the Ps3 hooked up to a Cambridge Works 7.1 System.

I still prefer watching movies at the theater though.

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

50 inch plasma, bose, ps3, stereo.. thats bout it..

Stop copying me. :D

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

i can take a photo to prove it:chai:

Posto. Kiss nay roka hay ?

I’ve got a pretty sweet setup as well but nothing beats the fun of being at the Cinema IMO :khumar:, what I’ve got in my room is mostly used for Video Games or maybe a nice flick on a Movie Channel maybe, other then that I’d rather see a movie on the big screen than at home :khumar:

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

70 inch (don't ask!) plasma - still waiting on the blue ray but he hooked to so may speakers and gadgets I don't even know.

My husband is insane! I guess I know how he feels about my shoes

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

wow 70 inch.. thats amazing...

:hayaa:
I am thinking to move this 50 inch to kids game room and buy bigger screen plasma. When I bought my plasma TV , 50 inch was the biggest size.

don’t be so surprised, the Panasonic Viera is 103 inches :chai:, but personally I think its a complete waste of money and I remember when it was brand new, it use to cost more then a brand new BMW 7 series fairly loaded! (a 745Li to be precise), hmmm lets see, a BMW 75Li or a 103 Inch TiVo?, anyone with a fully functional right side of there brain would rather a BMW 745Li instead…

hope your kids room is a mile long and equally wide :chai:

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

I know about the panasonic. I was amazed at the fact that someone actually bought a 70 inch plasma. oh yeah give me a bmw anyday over a tv. i hardly watch tv anyways.

well actually one of friends, he's a TiVo freak!, he's got a 60-something inch Toshiba LCD, larger TiVo's make my eyes hurt, so my Sony Bravia (46 inches, 1080p) is perfect.

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

nice i am dying to get a bravia in my room but my mom will not let me. i just love sony tvs..
is it true that ps3 works best with sony bravia.. or is it just a rumour:bummer:

yep Sony has long been the most trusted brand in my family when it comes to TiVo’s, other then that PS3 will work best with anything thats High Definition (1080i/1080p atleast), no matter what the brand.

I think it's huge but hubby wanted it! I do love to watcht he HD programming on it and movies. It is amazing.

We moved the older 43 inch in our bedroom.

You know 50 used to look so big but now the non HD channels shrink the size of the programming.

I would advise against a T.V in the kids room!

One of friend and neighbor bought 65 inch LCD TV. After looking at that mine 50 inch looks like baccha.

There is no TV in kids bed rooms . It is their play room. Where all their playthings are and they play with them there.

Re: Share your at home movie viewing experience.

70 inch Tv…full cinema theatre…with extra big woofers:@:…but my mom nd my neighbours dont let me watch the movie thou :snooty:… (i can prove it:@
