I solved the cause of the petrol issue. Its Ishaq Dar. The ego maniac said we would have 15 billion dollars in reserves so he didn't authorize any payments to buy fuel.

I bet that is what it is. Why? Because according to the news we haven't had an oil shipment since Nov/Dec. And Ishaq Dar wanted his 15 billion dollar target before the new year. Knowing how egotistical these guys are this is what I bet happened.

This crisis tells you one more thing

If you want to take over a country and bring everything to stand still, all you need to do is stop their fuel...everything shall stop, and whilst DAASH is out there, Americans are playing with them, showing us that they are hitting them, they have all the vehicle( none of them locally made) and their spare parts and lots of fuel to keep them going...

I think it is time to let private companies bring in Fuel, Govt can buy their own fuel for defense and their own use... rest can be on the locals... also need to setup refineries with the production capacity to at least satisfy the local need and govt should be able to export it as well...

Unfortunately (for you), I have more trust on what my bro is telling me due to his first hand experience than on some Sindh Govt spokesman (like Hazrat Aaali martabat Sharjeel Memon) or PSO spokesman. Most of the time these spokesmen are out of sync with street reality.
