clash has started at Novelty Chowk [Rana Sanaullah’s area]…first stone throwing then water cannon and now firing in the air…2 policemen and 9 protestors injured. PMLN guy shot and injured ONE PTI worker. Police running after both with no luck.

there is seems to be a split between Abid Sher Ali and Rana Sanaullah groups as well.

ONE 0f the 3 critically SHOT PTI worker is dead...Shot N killed by PMLN goon. one guy in plain clothes has been clearly firing in the crowd. he is probably Gullu Butt type of PMLN hoodlum.

the dead man's name is AsGhar, 25 years old. he was shot in the chest.

it's a developing story and i am watching a couple of Pakistani TV channels...they are all reporting the same thing.

i don't understand why PMLN supporters were allowed to come anywhere close to PTI protestors. they are the ones who started throwing rocks, then freely used laathis and then started firing.

Shahbaz as usual has taken notice of the young man's killing.

TWO other injured PTI workers are in CRITICAL condition.

it's funny, strange and plain stupid that the police are NOT carrying any arms. they are waiting orders from higher up in the chain of command to go after the PMLN supporters who have killed one and injured 3 so far. criminal negligence. people were told that the police is READY to deal with any situation...sure, yeah....police is unarmed, not stopping PMLN supporters and then refusing to go after them even after firings.

Some bloodshed/fight is bound to happen.

PTI wants to shut down the country. Fine but at best it will have 30-40% support of commercial community. what about rest of the 60%? is PTI going to do what MQM used to do to shut down karachi? but at least in Karachi MQM had no opponents. here in punjab we have PMLN a sitting govt arguably with same public support as PTI to oppose...

PTI will have more responsibility for any bloodshed...because what they are trying to do will need some force to implement.

the market was open and then after this incident it has been closing down. PMLN, Rana Sanaullah and Abid Sher Ali have gone mad in fear.

a large number of PMLN and PTI supporters are facing each other. they are very excited and almost out of control. clash is feared...Allah kare k aisa na ho...situation is very tense and anything can happen.

the opposing crowd is neck in neck and hand in hand with each other...police has been completely failed to keep them separated.

what the hell the police was prepared for?

Things have reached to limits ... sabar labraiz ho raha ha .. jo suffer ker rahain hain corruptions and un-lawful actions

some one has to initiate ...

The methodology might be questioned --- but it has to happen one way or ther other

So what you saying is, people rejected the call, but closed their business in fear of their lives... mean just like in Karachi, to save their lives and assets they closed the things....

PTI supporters were peaceful. the situation turned ugly when PMLN supporters shot N killed the PTI worker.

PMLM gtoons and Shareef Biradarans must be responsible.

yeah they were burning tires, blocking roads and forcing educational institute to be close down peacefully... and fire was the fake one... and they just politely requested to school admin to close the school if they want to remain in business... we know these kind of peaceful activities of MQM.. they do the same...
