segregation

Is too much segregation (gender), bad for a community?

Re: segregation

no

Re: segregation

yes

Re: segregation

Yes, it makes female crush for anything that looks like a man and makes men...well.....act like typical men.

Re: segregation

yes, how are we going to populate earth if women and men were segregated?

Also many women/men experience awkwardness or a phobia of sorts because they are not used to the opposite sex.

Re: segregation

how much are you talking?

Re: segregation

Segregation of bathrooms on genders. Probably proposing a non violent "sitting in" of the two. One single communal bathroom for everyone. :D

Re: segregation

yes -

Re: segregation

Too much segregation leads to oppression of one of the two genders, as one of them has to give up on public space(usually the women). I'm all for separate bathrooms though.

Re: segregation

Yes.

If there were to be a clear cut example of a state that imposed horrendously strict gender segregation's and the disturbing consequences that came out of it all. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for Saudi Arabia to come to mind. A study once conducted (I think back in 2008) revealed out a staggering 70% of Saudi teenagers that exchanged pornographic images via their mobile phones. Moreover, 80% women that were victims of the so called 'bluetooth' harassment at some point. There was apparently more to this story.

Not sure of how its all like at this point. But guess waging multiple fights/wars against the Islamic populations and the suppression of Muslim governance/politicians has pretty much galvanized Muslims in the past years.

Another irrelevant example would be the discriminatory segregation of the Black and the Whites. Where the latter would get significantly better facilities to make use of compared to the former.

Re: segregation

I don't know.

On one hand, I think that too much segregation is bad because it makes you unaccustomed to any sort of interaction with the opposite sex. Its literally a culture shock when you are faced with men at work and have to work closely with them.

On the other hand...............there's gotta be a reason Allah miyan says no.

Re: segregation

one reason why people are opposed to women working..

Re: segregation

well, if your guests are hawt and beautiful then segregation is recommended. :chai:

Re: segregation

^And if they’re ugly, segregation is imperative! Who wants to go blind?!? :chai:

Re: segregation

still recommended because beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Re: segregation

Looks like we have an economist in the house.(post 11)

Re: segregation

And your point is? Look up the word "imperative" in the dictionary and you'll find that you didn't have one. A point, that is.

Re: segregation

wasnt my statement affirmative :chai:

Re: segregation
