what is so appealing about them? you go to shor saraba forum and every actor and actress is semi nude. Men/Women of south American and some African tribes hardly wear any clothes but they dont appear sexy to us or to their own people. Does that mean that nudity mixed with beauty (although beauty is very subjective) is what creates the ultimate appeal? If yes, then cant only beauty be sufficient to create that appeal?
My question is, do we need nudity to be popular, famnous, marketable?
if you make those africans presentable even they would look good. No one looks good at every angle. every person looks good at some angle with some light and some pose. only if you know how to highlight the best features, like they with pamela anderson
TLK, sad but true.... if u wanna be successful in this industry (modelling, acting whatever), u have to take ur clothes off...
I couldn't care less about indian actresses dancing around semi naked in rain or hollywood actresses doing a full sex scene or even paki actresses doing crap but it does shock me when I see paki models (who're from good backgrounds and are well educated, well spoken) modelling in disgusting clothes....
Hmmm, but nudity is not the only attention grabbing way .. there are other ways too, right?
Same answer as I gave to Niks, every person looks good at some angle, does that angle need to be a nude pose?
Nudity is more the part of elite class nowadays (wahtever ‘elite’ suppose to mean). You are consider jahil ganwaar dehaati if your shirt is full sleeves. have you noticed that?
I like to read that article. Want to know if appeal reduces as skin visibilty increases from 0 to 44% or no.

Umm no! Go to fashion and beauty or classified ads, full sleeves are in.
I think what you consider "nudity" or "scantly clad" is very subjective. I personally haven't seen any Pakistani celebs dressed scantly clad or showing nudity. It's all about how you perceive exposed skin.
As for the question, I think people expose skin to standout and seek attention. If everyone was naked the person with clothes on would get noticed.
I think opposite, the most outlandish outfit works for me, i know of times when i wore 24 meter shalwar kameez suits!
I am not that big a guy, okay i'm tall but not fat so i look totally odd in clothes which are so long. However theres good reason for the suit, no it's not a waste of cloth.... it is a symbol of ones status just like the sword i often wear ;)
men can notice a scantly clad women a mile away -i suppose its got something to do with sex appeal . but what about women how do you perceive half naked women
I am not saying anything about Pakistani fashion, I was talking things in general. EVery culture is expsoing more skin than they were only 15 years ago.
scantily clad hottie = 1 step closer to what i want.
ergo.
that reminded me of that old joke where a villager waited behind the bushes for this girl (who was ready to take a bath in the river) to take her clothes off so he can run away with her clothes.
