You know that the Darfuri people have traditional mechanisms that are for more advanced in conflict resolution than that of the models brought in? So much so that the UN is now supporting local methods over the ones provided by western experts?

We have seen where the great 'local methods of conflict resolution' have taken them. And since when has UN supporting some method makes it the best? UN is just trying things out.
WHat do I base what I said? It is called strategic management 101 that objectivity is better achieved from a distance than from within. For example the entire concept of 3rd party arbitration works because of that.
