chanda, the saree was made out of chiffon and it was this soft, flowy gorgeous stuff.. and the kaam on it was so beautiful.. intricate and and so fine. there’s this distant aunt of mine who is all conservative and doesn’t like girls wearing sarees before they are married but even she fell in love with it.. she kept telling me the saree was sparkling like a chandelier.. i am totally in love with utsav sarees now.

that sari would look better in red and gold that color is too light i wouldn't wear it

sara, it is utsavsarees.com.. it takes a lil long to open up.. i don't know why but the site is a tab bit slow.

pinklove, i am sure even blue and pink will look gorgeous on you, you dont have to change it to red or gold or green or anything. some colors suit everyone regardless of being light or dark.

wow those sarees are amazing. I’ve only ever worn a saree once it lukd great, but i duno i felt really ineasy in them in case it all opeend up or if i tripped up on it, which knowing me was very highly likely

I'm going to take pictures of all the sarees I got made for my wedding one of these days. You guys would love them. There's a beautiful yellow chiffon one with red, green and pink thread kaam and mirrors throughout, that I love especially.

These are both kanjivaram type sarees they’re really popular in south india and different from banaras sarees. I posted this one before:

the second one is also kanchivaram type saree but i’m sitting in a scrunched position during an intense pooja session so you can’t really see the detail in the sari.

i’m not pissed here, just really concentrating

but those are my two saris

Shay your saris are sooo gorgeous, they are completely bollywood style and next time i go to india i’m getting myself one!!
