i think she means registry marriage.

catty, are you in the UK? it seems to be a really big trend over there... not so much in toronto.

I think its the legal/civil marriage..

I've found brits make a bigger occasion of it than amreekan/canadians. i only learned abt a registry when i joined here :D

yea dear..its kind of civil marriage here in uk..and must be done before the islamic nikkah..usually its held in thre registry office....or where u register ur marriage infront of the officers and witness....
most ppl wear white stuff...as its the gora wedding colour..and its more like a trend here..regardless whtever religion or country ur from..but obviously ur nt forced to wear that colour.....

its a really big day for me!! as only men r gng to attend the islamic nikkah
