this item cannot be installed in your devices country

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Do u have any credit card attached with google wallet?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

You can use a VPN to fool Google into thinking your device is in another country. This may only work on devices without cellular connectivity, such as tablets, as Google may use the cellular network your device is on as its location.
Using a VPN doesn’t require root access.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

a little late to join the club.. but yea, got the samsung note 2 :D

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Velcom shelcom.

@Joel : You must have dropped it too high / real hard or must have a case on it for the back to not pop out. I think that it is a new feature that the back pops out if you drop your phone taking the kinetic energy transfer to have less momentum on the front screen. I have dropped mine a couple times (finally have a case and anti-fingerprint screen protector on now) but I have scratched the top right corner frame on the side :teary1: but screen has remained fine.

PS 1 The only gripe I have is that the screen is too big to hold for a call so perhaps a thinner and lighter (composite material?) note should be introduced.

PS 2 I am happy that I am on Note 2 because Note 1 was terrible (not enough real time data?) with 800 mb RAM that would just choke with a browser, AV and weather running . I was afraid with installing an AV, but with all the android malware running around even sometimes in Google Play store, I pulled the plug and there has not been a performance dip in the phone.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

@DP: Nope....it wasnt too high or hard. It was in the holster and popped out. I got the replacement and sold it to get the S4.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Yes, the phone is too big to hold for talking but I just love the screen for browsing. Btw, I can't seem to download the tubeloader app here through the page by storing the .apk. I am on 4.1.2 (jellybean?) or is it 4.2.1 but yea it was a recent update by ATT.

S4 is comparable to iphone 5 screen wise, right?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

S4 is actually comparable to Note 2 as there is only .3 inches difference between the two. It might be JB 4.2.2

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Calling all notables! I am unable to post pics on gupshup forum threads from my note. The android app says: the user has logged in but does not have permission to complete the action, whenever i try to upload pics on a thread.
Whereas in the mobile site rss of gs, it doesnt show any option to post a pic.and when i try to post pics from full site from my note, it doesnt upload the downloaded pics , just the camera shots and that too after a long period of waiting.

Pl, help? I am not tech savvy.so would greatly appreciate if someone could sort this out.thanks.

Someone?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

^^Ok. This was my test and I was able to do it. I would suggest the same as RocketSocket to update the app and if its not update-able then to uninstall and install again. See if that works.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

Im having some problems with Google play store. Whenever I try to open it I get an error msg. I have tried uninstalling updates and clearing cache ... it still doesn't work

I checked, app is upto date. Uninstalled it and re installed and tried to post pic here but still same" the user has logged in but does not have permission to perform the requested action" , response.

Even the mobile site does not show any option to post a pic in a thread.

Any help ? Thanks.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Club @ GS

I m not sure what else we could try here. I would suggest posting this issue in the GS support forum since the developers of the app would need to assist you.
