Let us celebrate the Note in here. Has Note ruined other cell phones for you as far as the size go? I know it has for me…I cant hold other phones in my hand since they feel like midgets.
Also, lets talk about everything note in here. Folks who have Note II have you gotten the new JellyBean update? If you have how is it working out for you? Lets talk about the dual window feature…

Totally! Who could work with a little tiny screen after 5 minutes with a Note?
Of course, I realize that some people have little tiny hands...

As a matter 'fact, my fiance with his li'l iPone fully concedes that the camera in my Note blows his out of the water, to the point that when he wants a picture taken of something, he says, "here, take this shot for me."

For sure all other phones are ruined for me after the Note II. My favorite features that I use most often:
S pen: I actually love writing emails, texts or my daily to do list using the pen which no matter how messy I write converts into normal text perfectly. Also this comes into great use during business meetings.
S voice: use it most often to navigate or even ask it to write texts while driving.
Dual window: I really like this feature but not that use to it yet.
Also I like playing with the jellybeans under about device :D. Lol

There are tons. You would have to research on what you want...I m running a jelly bean ROM on my note. You will have to head over to the internet. There is one specialized site that deals with only ROMS and rooting. I m not sure if I could name it here..

We are waiting for the jelly bean premium suite to show up for Original Note. Dont know when it will come but I am running a JB ROM on my phone but it doesnt have all the cool features like dual window.

Just PM me. I was rooting my phone after the ICS upgrade and it is bricked. I think what happened was that I used a gingerbread rooting file and I saw many other people who had the same issue because the developer didn't mention it was for gingerbread only! :(

I found a great app for adjusting the brightness of the screen without having to go to menu-settings-display-brightness...
It's called Display Brightness (ok, so it's not a catchy name). It puts a little coloured bar in the menu bar at the top of the screen (and you can adjust the colour and transparency, etc). You just touch or swipe that little bar and the screen brightness dims or brightens as you wish, and it even tells you what percentage brightness you're at. Very handy, and accessible all the time.
It will work for any Android, not just for us Notable people. ;)

Can someone explain to me why when I send an email/gmail from my phone that sometimes it seems to be sent 2 or 3 times to the same person? I swear I only hit "send" once!

Have you tried resetting your phone or email?
It does bring me to the topic of backups. I know that google back ups the apps etc on the servers, since there is an option on the phone for it. My question is that why isn't the phone restored to the past with all the apps and layout? This is how icloud works in iOS by remembering the history of the apps though the actual apps are re-downloaded from the app store.

I think the issue could be that on iPhone you could only have one phone on one account but on android you can have multiple phones on one account. It might get confused on which one it is.

If its doing that with gmail, try the gmail only app....

Anyone fellow Noters running jelly bean on their phones? I had installed a JB ROM on my phone and took it off since I was getting random reboots on the phone and hated that....I m back on ICS and waiting for the JB update on our phones...

Sorry fellas. I will be dropping out of this club. Dont have my Note anymore. Sold it so that I could get a nexus 4.
Got my nexus 4 and very happy with with it. All the goodness of jelly bean 4.2
