Swami fella is saying that no one can be converted by force/sword, I remember well the allegations of conversion towards Islam by force. I am not sure how true Asaduddin awaisi's assertion of RSS/VHP's plan of fe converting all minorities of India to Hinduism by 2025.

propaganda that these are just sham conversions and should not be take as seriously as conversions in Sindh. At least, our filthy politicians don't give statements like BJP's MPs in assemblies.

It is good it is being discussed and people are speaking out against conversions. Forced conversions are wrong whether it is RSS or some groups kidnapping a 12 year old Hindu girl in Sindh and getting her married to a 50 yr old man like Anjali. One should not justify the other. Neither should we make comparisons about which situation is worse. Denials on either end won’t fix the situation. The RSS should stop acting like this and trying to turn India into a Hindu nation by law. I think they want to make India a Hindu country like Pakistan is a Islamic republic. And in Pakistan the government should do something about these forced conversions and pass the Hindu marriage act which is still pending for many years. This will give rights to Pakistani Hindu woman and men to prove they are married and have marriages registered with government. Till Aug 2014 it was discussed i don’t know if it has been passed yet. Need for the Hindu Marriage Act Malaysia is an Islamic majority country and i think it is also an Islamic republic. They have holidays for Diwali and Christmas. In India there are holidays for all religions even Sikhs who similar % to Hindus in Pakistan. Pakistan has 5th highest number of Hindus in world after India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Fiji. So basically it is possible.
Also RSS needs to watch Shanakht, Zee Zindagi and learn to respect Muslims. Especially ones like Qurat-ul-Ain. People of different religions can learn good from each other rather than always being antagonistic to each other. RSS does not have favourable following across majority of India. Like JeI in Pakistan if they gain favourable views it is because they help during natural disasters and run schools/hospitals. That is the way they try to make their views spread among mainstream.
Only twice in Indian history has a religious based party been voted into power. In 1998 and now. So now some groups are getting emboldened in their views like some hindu extremist groups wanting to ban mobile phones for girls. In long term if this does not settle then they won’t be able to remain in power. Indian politicians say the stupidest things. The comments on rape are another example. I condemn all that. UNfortunately we are not like West in that if our subcontinental politicians say something wrong they step down. Political parties are egoistic and no one will let weakness be shown even if it means stepping down and apologising. I admire this fact about the West. No one stepped down/got sacked from any political party for the rape comments and nothing will happen for these comments or the ramzada/haramzada.
I also think Indian Muslims and Pakistani Hindus need to do more to raise awareness of these issues and to assert their rights. Sometimes people get complacent. Sad fact of world is most people only look after their own interests so unless you stand up for yourself people won’t stand up for you. I had a Pakistani Hindu female friend and i encouraged her to express issues she had on forums like this but she was to shy to join. I told her there were lot of nice Pakistanis on here who can help her. Some even from Karachi like her but she also had access issues to internet. Well off Pakistani Hindus and Indian Muslims don’t suffer it is only those who are poor and do not have access to resources.

what is the connection between this and sindh? they are independent events. why do people like you and arlittar keep bringing it up and discussing solutions for sindh on a topic about UP?
and if you keep posting about shanakht again.. 
one does not need to watch some dumb tv serial to know one has to respect other people. it isnt that hard to recognize who the communal snakes are and how openly they are trying to bully muslims en masse. once again, moodi je will claim he is very disappointed at how he couldnt handle the media.

Well Arleitter has family in Sindh and has visited the place so he has a personal connection that is why he mentions it. The only reason i mentioned it is because it was bought up earlier in the thread by Muqa bhai. I was not the first person to bring up Sindh. I clearly said both are wrong.
True one does not need to watch a serial to respect people. Educated people or open minded people know that already. Unfortunately we have lot of uneducated illiterate people in India who are swayed by emotional speeches and get little exposure to positive images of Pakistanis and Indian Muslims in religious clothes in the media. Like zombies in the West they assume if someone has beard or someone has hijab they must have particular views. Can you tell me if there are any recent characters in hijabs in any indian movies/tv shows? Apart from My name is Khan which was many years ago. It is actually a good serial about stereotypes of religious Muslims with beard and hijabs. Zee Zindagi is already featuring Pakistani dramas and this too should be picked up.
I did say they were communal and they should stop stirring trouble. That is what religious extremists do. I am not making excuses for anyone.
I post about Shanakht whenever i see it is relevant to the thread.

I see a trend of glib and ignorant conformity, probably to feel a sense of undeserved importance or grandeur. But I don’t want to diagnose that mental case over the web, so gave him the benefit of doubt and called in self loathing. That aside…

For the hindu group it is a sort of revenge against centuries old forced conversion to islam and for the muslim group it is to con the other guys and walk off with the ‘purse’.

I didn't say that you are for the conversions. But you probably failed to see the pattern and frequent statements even by BJP MPs and just jumped to call others 'blind, deaf and dumb'. Thats where I see problem in your argument.

today another dirty bjp hindutva MP - some crazy sanyasi - has praised the killer of gandhi. how these saffron-clad guys who should be smoking ganja on the banks of ganga end up in parliament is beyond me. UP sends way too many MPs to parliament compared to rest of india, most of these are useless and counter productive kind of people. something has to be done about this or the whole of india will become one big cowpoo pile with their policies.
