I've sent flowers, written poetry, sent countless spontaneous and sweet notes in the post, turned up unexpectedly with a full to the brim picnic hamper on a lovely summer's day, taken him on surprise outings and dinners...sigh...what bliss...

Well when an over whelming amount of men are of the same opinion that women do not initiate acts of physical intimacy/romance then its safe to assume that we have a problem. I wouldn't say most but at least a majority of women will not initiate acts that will lead to physical relationship.

like I said, the guys who women would like to romance with....are not the type of guys that would go around telling everyone about it...hence the guys who have been telling you things...are not the type most women would want to romance with anyway....hence the information you have is biased.

some guys! as far as I know they can be romantic to anything with a faminine tag attached to it.

most western guys are NOT romantic according to me....urbanPK says hes romantic and he's from pakistan....my fiance is also from pakistan and is very romantic too.....I havent yet come across any western guy who is romantic...or havent heard of any...

Its OK , maybe she's just shy.

Before marriage (and even the first few weeks/months), I would chalk it up to shyness, she doesnt know u very well, etc. I'm assuming you've had an arranged marriage (correct me if i'm wrong)..i think it's normal and natural for a girl to be shy...a few months ago, another guy was on here complaining about the same thing, that his fiance wont' talk to him on the fone..he got married though, so dunno wha thappened..

Do come back in a month or two after u get married and tell us the results :D

Well it is a love/arranged marriage if such a thing exists. I mean I talked to her almost every other day on the phone and I kind of flirted with her on the phone. For example, she was asking me where I kept her picture and I answered "Dil Mein Rakhta Hoon". That probably scared her away although she was laughing while I was in shock that I said something that corny.:(
