Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
It proves that Hindu religion encourages an open discussion instead of rotating arround outdated dogmas with a blocked mind.

Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
Anyhow Mr Deedawar again you are winning. Now tell me....
'Can any one count at least fourteen Muslim women out of last fourteen centuries who achieved some goals in public life without any opposition from the religious sector?'
14 centuries and nothing to show………
He is not ignoring this question. In fact he has nothing to answer.
Ps, I really enjoy when they make big claims but escape if enquired directly.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Nice try in conceding with pride…!![]()
You did not expect being caught did you?
The fact is that you proved that hinduism promotes dragatory attitude towards women and all thru this thread you have been trying to argue exactly opposite!
What should we take as your exact position?
…I guess you already said you lost the discussion so with a friendly note…please ignore this question.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Thanks and I have mentioned the reason for ignoring.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Have you ever heard the word…Open discussion, open thinking, impact of a religion on mind set?
If you block your mind with the outdated dogmas and derogatory established norms for women there is no hope.
And for this reason out of fourteen centuries of Islam you are failed to name even a single woman.
Whereas, we Hindus can name thousands of Women from Draupadi to Phulan Devi who have created history and the Hindu society have accepted them.
Jews, Christians, Buddhists and even Sikhs can beat you in this competition.
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
He has no answer to my queries.
(This is not for the first time that someone has exploited ignorance as a bless)
Can a Muslim woman put up her demands in personal, family or social matters as per Islam? If she could, I had not raised this question.
'Can any one count at least fourteen Muslim women out of last fourteen centuries who achieved some goals in public life without any opposition from the religious sector?'
14 centuries and nothing to show………
Is it a matter or shame or glorification?
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
After agreeing that hinduism has degrading attitude towards women you are desperately trying to give another twist to the discussion in arguing about which relgion has open mindedness or not. Thats not the discussion here.
Just understand one thing here…people allow open thinking or closed mindedness…religions generally have no closed mindedness.
Your problem is that you keep going back to ‘people’ and want to give credit to ‘religion’ if PEOPLE were open minded when you posted against hinduism and its scripture… and I have to bring you back to the discussion about the religions.
And now that you are caught lying through several posts trying to preach that your religion is not degrading to women and finally admitted losing that discussion, you are trying to bring other religions for your support…Stick to your religion you know best otherwise you are going to lose again after few more posts.
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
He wants to convince us that a religion (Islam) has no impact on the mind set.
It is an Islamic attitude that Hindu religion is degrading towards women…….I cannot make out how Hindu women have shown guts for leading the society in many aspects throughout centuries.
Can Islam understand what evolution is? And what is the difference between religious dogmas and history of mankind.
What Islam says about the desires of a woman?
Can a Muslim woman put up her demands in personal, family or social matters as per Islam?
Let us first study these minor aspects concerning the life of women under Islam.
May be it was my fault to ask them such a difficult question, where they have nothing to show…
'Can any one count at least fourteen Muslim women out of last fourteen centuries who achieved some goals in public life without any opposition from the religious sector?'
/I feel pity for you Deedawar…such heavy claims and nothing to prove out of 14 centuries./
My religion is not degrading towards women. My religion teaches us to accept the challanges of society, instead of issueing fatwas against the rising lady stars.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Trying to put blame on others?
At least you still are convinced that hindu religion IS degrading towards women.
(Notice, I just repeated your statement)
OK…here we go:
A- Which Islamic rule says five brothers can and must mary one woman?
The only religion which can say multiple men at the same time can mary one woman is???..Its Hinduism as far as I know.
B- Which islamic rule says one should ‘gamble’ or a man gamble his wife?
C- Wich islamic rule says a woman’s private parts be revealed in public?
D- Which Islamic rule says a wife or wives must be burned ALIVE with the dead husband?
E- Which Islamic rule told your 'LORD" to steal clothes of women if they are taking bath in river and force/blackmail them (by telling them they were sinners since they took bath) to come out of water without clothes, infront of other men (your Lord’s friends) eagerly ‘watching’?
F- Which islamic rule says women cannot mary again after divorce or becoimg a widow?
G- Which islamic teaching told hindu religion to teach hindus, that women run after men like whores and they are sluts by nature?
(There is nothing like Bimbo Goddess Indrani in ISlam but it is mentioned in your religious book)
And this ‘nature’ was given to women by Lord of Creation!
This answers at least partly to your question of evolution theory of women and hinduism I hope.
H- Whic Islamic belief told hinduism that lust, maliciousness, crookedness and bad conduct is assigned to women? Last time I checked Manu does not represent Islam by any stretch!
I- Which Islamic rule states that woman without a son is to be discarded?
Islam does not distinguish between a male or female child born to a woman to be respected, and a woman as a mother still needs to be fully respected. There in nothing in islam which says onle the ‘mother of a son’ has heaven under her feet.!!
Do you want me to find more hinduism teachings which are NOT by any means influenced by Islam and are still degrading to women??
Well I can pretty much say that if people have abandon many of degrading attitude in hinduism..its due to their exposure to Islam!
No wonder why majority of hindus welcomed and respected muslim rulers and they fought against one muslim ruler to get another muslim ruler to be appointed! (Please read history of your and my motherland)
I respect all such women.
Well, Islam gave an honorable role to women since their evolution. Unlike claiming that they were given ‘crookedness’ and bad nature from very begining!!
1- Desires of woman, if you mean sexual…then they are considered as valid as men’s desire. She can get divorce if husband cannot satisfy her… or vice versa.
I did give you answer why the talk about men in Quran.
2- Yes and why not?
Just like men, women can do all of those things as long as the no one breaks basic islamic rules. I have not found anything in islam to the contrary.
In Islam a woman is allowed to mary anyone and is allowed to refuse anyone for marriage. A woman can give ‘rishta’ to a man and can get education of her wishes…etc.
Thanks for feeling pity for me following the best religion.![]()
Hope you can understand at least 10% of it.
^You are trying to contradict yourself here!
Try not to change your own positions. Its called flip-flopping.
Do you want me to post again what you said earlier in November if you have extremely short memory?
Just for an example however:
Now:
(a) Either your religion is NOT correct and in-applicable as you suggested? or
(b) what you said about it NOT being degrading to women is a lie!?
Whichever is it? Or Both statements are correct?![]()
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
did arabs show pakistani how to dress, eat, speak and behave ? before that you were cannibals?
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Ignored.![]()
Read above the topic. (I mentioned about muslim rulers only because it was claimed that islam had any alleged bad influence on hinduism..no where it was mentioned in my post above what you asked)
Stick to the topic.
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
Hello. womans role in the religion is alot.
they are wearing the scarf first of all and it is like a flag for us! showing she is a musalman girl!
she is not working side to side with man in office in tight tight cloth she is taking care of man at home and cooking so man comes and he relacx and when he work he is not thinking oh what i have to cook? oh where are my shoes? when he is relax he is ofcourse get up early and work harder. and he has not much stressful so you can see! it is a circle (dairah!) woman is completing it and making the life good.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
He has made heavy blames, though I take only one without considering that he understands anything apart from Islam…
Which Hindu religious text says that (five) Hindu brothers must marry one woman because it happened in Mahabharata?
This one reply is enough to all of his allegations, but I fail to expect any thought process from his side, not his fault.
And he makes heavy claims but nothing to prove……….
And off course my evergreen question I enjoy…….
‘Can any one count at least fourteen Muslim women out of last fourteen centuries who achieved some goals in public life without any opposition from the religious sector.’
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
All religions in the matter of woman have either explicitly or by practise discriminated against women.
Only societies that do not discriminate against women have been sucessfull. This need not be proved it can be seen if you look at nations and socities.
Comparing which religious book has a sentence extolling women etc etc is just for the pretenders and the foolish. No one is buying it..........
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
Interesting.
No one is ‘selling’ anything either…I hope.
Its not the religion of Islam which discriminated against any sex.
We are not talking about societies made by human being.
We have agreed thought that hindu religion has degrading remarks and attitude towards women.
We have also seen that there is NO impact on hindu religion by islam to make hindu religion develop these degrading ideas towards women.
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
:k:
He has as well decided that he has won in this discussion.
Islam as a religion is sure to treat women in the best manner ever known to man kind, because they have all explanations and contexts to hide the truth…..
And off course my evergreen question I enjoy…….
‘Can any one count at least fourteen Muslim women out of last fourteen centuries who achieved some goals in public life without any opposition from the religious sector.’
Do not they sell a false theory covered under contexts, excuses and explanations?
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
1. A single verse from Quran which talks about the desires of a woman?
Not quite sure whether there’s a verse particularly speaking of women’s desires. However, to the best of my knowledge, according to Shariah there is equality.
2. Can a woman put up her demands in personal, family and social life? Any verse from Quran???
What is your obsession with the verses of Quran? Shariah is the Islamic law that takes into account both Quran and authentic ahadith. Yes, women can demand whatever it is they want, so long as it’s reasonable.
**
3. Why did the Prophet not abolish the lady-slavery system?**
Slavery is not forbidden in Islam. However, to the best of my knowledge one has to treat the slaves/captives well.
**
4. Where it is written in Quran that a man must get permission from ‘what his right hand has in possession’ for making intimate relations with her? **
Who says a man needs permission from his wife for it?
**
5. Why three Talaq system is only for men and not for women?**
Women are both granted the right to talaq, but I’m not sure of the details as well as the women are allowed to have the marriage dissolved, if needed.
6. Why a woman cannot have four men at a time?
There is wisdom behind everything that Allah (SWT) has prescribed. I’m sure someone else can explain it in detail, if required.
7. Islam allows marrying a 9 year old girl kid and it is not a theory but practiced and glorified.
You have sworn never to talk sensibly. There are many females that mature at the age of nine (or later). This is no longer a common practice.
I must add that you bring some of the most bizzare issues and much of what you post clearly shows that you have no knowledge of Shariah. It is also quite evident you read material from anti-Islamic websites and quickly start questioning beliefs and practices here with a mindset that you will not listen or understand.
Lastly, please be mindful of how you express yourself.
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
We have agreed thought that hindu religion has degrading remarks and attitude towards women.
And we have agreed, agreed that Islam has foolish sentences like right hand, two women equal to one man. Brilliant nonsense from the author.
Same goes for Christianity and other religions.
So it comes back to the same point I have made - Practically every one says that every religion has been close to nonsense in the matter of women.
And if not mentioned explicitly then in practise has been violently shameful.
I still have faith in humanity and its rational throught process to adopt to change. That why I talk of socities that change has the best chance.
Left to religion you would have Afganistan the most progressed nation in the world with a GDP that can me measured in rocks!!!!!
Re: Role of women in world’s major religions and why?
I only stated what Anjjan himself said and agreed and now trying very hard to get out of that. I did mention flip flopping… as his true behaviour. Read above.
Should I keep copying his own statements every post??
Quran is revealed by Allah and he is the only ‘author’ of it .
You must read the meaning of right hand’. In my understanding right hand means whatever he is considered responsible of…
Unlike the usual circumstance around us…Islam makes sure that having intimate relation with a woman is not just a temporary affair.
No one says if there is only one woman gives the evidence it will be disregarded.
Read the text of Quran on it.
Same goes for four witnesses requirement…there is no need for exactly four people as witness…meaning if there is any other proof available to substanciate the evidence one, two or three will be acceptable. A crime is a crime and in Islamic shariah it is not taken lightly that a woman gets raped.
Not the point of this thread. What people do and what religions say.
You are more than welcome to start a new thread for any violently shameful practices going on.
Who does not have faith in humanity? Yes rationa thought processes to adopt change is a good thing.
But..again not the point of this thread. Stick to the topic.
Same problem with you. You again mentioned something out of the point of this thread.
It was never the religion of Islam which we saw in Afghanistan.
Now again… STICK TO THE TOPIC.
Re: Role of women in world's major religions and why?
^ everything that you say 'has nothing to do with the topic' has everything to do with the topic.
What people do vs what religions say is very relevant since there are only a handful of religions that follow the literal translations of ancient texts.
And of course the way religions are practiced change (except for a few still stuck in the past).
And for those who do not welcome change, they may very well end up with a situation as in Afghanistan - where women were treated a step above goats. So once again - very relevant to the topic.
