Rivers and their impact on culture

Re: Rivers and their impact on culture

India has many rivers and Ganga doesn’t touch every part of India, Southerners don’t recieve any water from Ganga. Cauvery, Godhawari, Krishna, Tapti etc are equally important, India’s four biggerst cities except Delhi borders Sea and Ocean:)

Re: Rivers and their impact on culture

Same is the situation with River Sindh. It doesn't reach all parts of Balochistan.

Re: Rivers and their impact on culture

But when Pakistan is introduced for the first time in our schoolbooks the chapter is named "Pakistan-A country of canals":)

Re: Rivers and their impact on culture

Its rightly said. Water of river Sindh reached in Balochistan through such canals. :)

Re: Rivers and their impact on culture

Correct, but they never wrote songs about any other River, except Ganga
