This isn’t representative of all communities though. I don’t think that religion is responsible for this, but rather the people or community in question. I think the education level of a community is one of the factors that influences how open minded (or not) a community is.

What I meant was are the muslim youth going volunteering shovelling snow for elderly, helping them do yard work , offering to do groceries for them, drive them to doctors and stuff, this counts for me as good deeds, not pointing fingers at who shows how much skin or did u study Islamiat in school.
