im all up for light hearted posts but i really hate it when threads turn into jokes so please can we not do that? thankyou.

thankyou for a guys perspective :) it is invaluable.
He contacted me again today, as soon as he got back from work so im taking this as a good sign.
But my parents are being a little unhelpful
They have told me to not talk to him until he has contacted them and said yes. grr
So do i lie to them and stay in touch with him? or do i write him an email asking him whats going on at the risk of pressurising him?
you dont need to become samrt.
in my opinion, you dont contact to this guy unless his parent officially approve/engaged you.

i think you need to stop holding on to him so tightly give him some breathing space, he is only a prospective match for now nothing more , nothing less. you guys talked everyday but i think you're obsessing about it too much. if he is really meant to be yours and your Significant other let him free for a while, he'll come back to you especially if he starts missing you or your calls and wants something more. is it possible for you to also look for other prospects and leave this issue open until he does get back to you?
you're trying to force something that might or might not happen. that's why some here are saying go with the flow for now, if it's meant to be, it'll happen no matter what. if it doesn't turn into something more, then see it as a good sign from Allah that it wouldn't have been much of a good relationship anyways

yup i am obsessing, but i obsess on here i dont show him any of this at all....i show an extremely cool side to me. Its weird as he was the one who was soooooooooooooo into me before and now is a bit cooler after the meeting but hasnt said hes not interested

To be honest i am like this on here. I HATE being in limbo it drives me mad and my parents are driving me insane too. yes im a psychotic neurotic needy pathetic little girl. But for the first time in my life a have a man in my life who is great and i would hate to see it slip away, its like the ngiht before christmas i want to rip open the present

you two cant achieve anything by talking..
remember, you have routine before this guy and now you involved too much and thinking about him. this is not good sign.
you may get other good rishtas if you just dont care this one.

If he thinks you're the right person, his feelings won't wane out while he's taking his sweet time to get in touch with you. Maybe he's just having cold feet and needs some time to think it over. Give him time to sort it out.

I think his parents have left all decisions up to him though, they have NEVER been in touch with my parents.
