I have a feeling that the article wasn't based on a mathematical formula but some sort of research but either way it looks like no one has ever heard of such thing so that article is invalid.

Age of Marriage

Don't want to start a war zone here. Just post the age you think is good for marrying and reason why you think that. Although in Islam, there is no definite age for marriage, just wanted to see some numbers on what you guys think is good.

I think somewhere between 23-26 is the best age for marriage. Because at this age, you are neither too young nor too old. Hopefully, if you concentrated on ur studies in college, you would've been done with your studies by this age so in this age, you can focus on your career and marriage. Another reason is that you don't want your kids to be in KG when you are 60 years old. So I think that somewhere between 23-26 is good for starting life with ur partner(s).

Marry whenever you want (provided u both agree).

No one set a date for anything. Islam gives you that right.
There is no such thing as a hasty decision, settled person, or an immature partner.

In the end its your decision, not the world's.

Don't live by society's standards, build your own.

i don't really think that there is a "perfect" age for marriage, its just when two people feel that they are mature enough to handle such a relationship.

In my opinion 25-27 is a perfect age to be married. By 22-23 you're finished with college have ure degree (Insahallah), and I think it is a good idea to work (utilize ure degree), have some savings...and then get married. unfortunately now a days marriages don't tend to last as long as they used (if you compare to it to the older genenration). Anyways, very important for girls to be able to stand on their own two feet - if something happens, divorce or death of spouse. Oh yea have at least one kid before 30!! - well that's my two cents of wisdom...
