Re: religion makes stupid people even more stupid
i think like any type of poetry, it’s left up to the reader to interpret what the poem or poetry verse is saying and to me Rumi’s verse is saying exactly how i want this world to be, a massive love for God and no need for religion. this will unite humanity for me. religion as i see it, only divides humans, when you have a simple belief in God what else do you need.
every religion has many bits in it that are very beautiful including islam, i take those parts for my every day life and ignore those parts i can’t get myself to accept, this is how i see Rumi’s line in my signature
