One reads of a saying by the Prophet, related in the "Sahih" by Al Bukhari: Oh ye women I have yet to find anyone swifter to the heart of a resolute man than one of you half-witted and irreligious lot! They asked: 'How are we irreligious and half-witted, oh Apostle of God' He replied: Isn't the testimony of the woman equal to that that of the man? They said: 'Yes'. He countered: That is due to her inferior mind; adding isn't it true that during her period she neither prays nor fasts? They said: 'True' Then he said: That is due to her lack of religion!

No where does it in the Quran say men are superior or women are less intelligent as men. Like Allah says in the Quran men get of the good what hey earn and women of theirs. The honoured one is the sight of Allah is the best in conduct.
Men have in certain places a degree above the women and in certain places a women has more rights as compared to men, this doesnt mean men they are superior then us or we are not intelligent, superiority comes in terms of taqwa.
FYI: Religion of Prophet Abraham was also “Islam”. Islam was not revealed to Prophet Mohammed PBUH only. Yes Quran was given only to Prophet Mohammad.
Rasulullah saw carried the same message as Abraham, David (Dawood), Jesus (Essa), Moses (Moosa) and other messengers i.e. Allah is one, day of Judgement etc. That is “Islam”.
You failed miserably, you didn’t give me a Qurani verse. You said that “Allah has created Jibrael as the most superior angel”, but you couldn’t tell me a verse in Quran where Allah swt said that.
Even the hadith you mentioned didn’t talk about Jibrael being the superior most.
I believe it was Hazrat Ali RA to be the first male to accept Islam, prove me wrong.
But in any of the “tons of places” is it said that Prophet Mohammed PBUH is superior to all others?

Chaltahai don't confuse Islam with 'Muhammedism'. Muslims are told in the Qur'an that Ibrahim is the father of their religion and subsequent prophets brought the same message.

Can someone tell me how Mohammed carried the same message as Jesus, when Jesus' message was all about peace and non-violence and Mohammed was a warrior that advocated violence to spread his message?

There is nothing wrong with beliveing in the words of Mohammed. There is a superb message in Islam. Why go fk it up with some senseless need to say it is the originator, dominator, terminator...elevator. Just do right by the message and don't get caught up in supposed history. Becuase the Jews win on that hands down.

Fadi my friend, it does not seem to me that labelling others as pathetically stupid or belonging to a clan is going to win any arguments here. IMHO for your argument to be valid, perhaps one simple, direct ayat from the Quran will suffice far better.

i am feeling a bit confused here, because i think this thread is shifting as we speak into another discussion. The initial argument was regarding mental intelligence based upon gender. In your opinion, does it state in the Quran that women are less intelligent than men and if so, is there an ayat that you can provide? If not, then upon which information has this claim been arrived at? All i am looking for is a Quranic verse to either verify the statement's foundation in Islam, or not.

I have always thought that the message Jesus brought of peace, non-violence, tolerance and acceptance was the most important (and appealing) aspect of Christianity. The Quran seems more like the Old Testament with its many rules and punishments prescribed. And it seems that many of the things Jesus taught (from the Bible, which you may see as incorrect) were not followed by Mohammed or his followerers.
A question I’ve always wondered about Islam is how much of the Bible do Muslims believe? Does the Quran have a “true” version of the Bible contatined within it? Otherwise, how do Muslims know which parts of the Bible are accurate?
I realize this is way off topic, but I truly wish to understand this. Can we start another thread?
