with regard to buddha I can understand. I dont believe in buddha as a incarnation but even though i admire his teachings a lot. Sometimes i let down hinduism itself in front of buddhism.

Because religion is man made, while God was, is and always will be there. Some people tried to highjack God himself, by saying they know it all and by saying this is the only true religion all others will burn in hell. LTTE is tamil movement comprosing all faiths. They have lots of tamil muslims, christians also involved in their troops. Only last week did the srilankan army fired granades into a church in the tamil territory in MAnnar in Northern srilanka, which was housing lots of tamil people.

He spend many years following the hindu procedures of meditation , yoga and tried all the methods of the sadhus and yogis . but nothing happened . he then went on preaching whatever he had learnt. this made the brahmins/pundits jealous & uneasy .cos their core business was in danger . according to Buddha u don't need a pundit (middleman ) to reach GOD . u don't need to go to temple , GOD is inside u . U don't have to pay the pundits to pray on ur behalf . u cannot appease the GOD by doing the Yagya(ceremony in which pundit throws stuff in fire & says Swahaa ).All these rituals taught by the hindu books were futile !.People were turning to Buddha in large numbers . so what does the brahmins do? Typical response : he is the Avatar of our gods. and the more time went on the more fabrication of the truth by these hindu brahmins . so much that they only rested after completely wiping Buddhism from their land. There 's a reason why Buddhism has spread to most parts of the globe but is almost non-exsistant in the country in which it was born!.

You dont know anything about hinduism and you also dont know anything about buddhism either. If nothing happened after meditation and other techniques, then why is it mentioned and encouraged in buddhist scriptures?...typical muslim mentality to say whatever that is there in other faiths is false.
Buddhism became extinct in india because buddha denied the existence of god which people were not willing to accept. Even if there was some friction with brahmins and buddha, they didn't bite each other.

we are not doing it. It is your zakir naik who is doing it. Even people like ramakrishna paramahamsa, saibaba, vivekananda, yukteshwar, yogananda, who had lots of followers , were they called as avatars of god. they could have easily were they elevated to the level of god?....dont talk nonsense. think before you talk.

Have you heard of a religion called jainism. Hindus go jain temples mainly because their phislosophy is very much similar ours. Mind it, i have never seen jains coming to hindu temples.
jains consider mahavira as their god or guru. He was born in karnataka state.i.e, my state. He became very popular and had his own followers. Go and read history, he was challenging brahmins/hinduism. Just because of that have we called mahavira as any avatar of our gods.
